I was replying to Aaron :lol
But I'm with Aaron though on the point that a figure in and of itself doesn't necessarily have to have an interesting costume or feature for me to want it as a figure, it just has to be a character I really enjoyed. The way I try to compensate for any lack of visual appeal in the costume is by giving them an environment of some sort.

All good paints here, I guess as a figure maker i'm attracted to more complicated or visual charachter.

I would be all so sad making only guys in suits :lol

With that, I wish theyd do someone like say a young Sly as Rocky or a Willis sculpt from Die Hard. Those (specially if offered as Full sets) will be really in demand!

Of course, for you as a customiser, clearly the more interesting and appealing the costume design is, the more of a challenge I imagine it is to make the figure, and therefore, that much more enjoyable I would guess.

Im all for a Rainman collaboration with imnime for Patrick Bateman from American Psycho

Make it a full set with headsculpts or something maybe these expressions

or

Clothing will be business Suit, tie, trousers shoes and translucent raincoat

Accessories: Gun, Suitcase, Axe and Staple-gun?

It will be so Jaw droppingly Epic!

Good thing is that there are NO LICENSING ISSUES,

Bale as Bateman has much longer hair and if his expression is made as radical as he is in the film, he cant be used for a Bruce Wayne bash so Hot Toys have nothing to be annoyed about,

plus there has never been any bootleg or custom release of Bateman by any small company before and American Psycho is a cult movie and has enough interest so the market for it is there. Bateman frequently features in wantlists for many collectors for customisers but surprisingly hasnt been done yet (Although KAI from Kai studio has made some accessories for him)

Maybe the DX Full set can have a repainted version of the headsculpt or a different new headsculpt with blood splatter! :rock
This figure with its potential can look way too amazing on display...
