How durable do you think those tattoos will be? What is the process being used to apply them? Is some kind of coating going to be applied on top of them?

You should treat the tattoos like you would ANY painted surface of a custom figure. With delicate care. THey are sealed with flat laquer spray but if you rub it with a dental tool it will probably come off. Just like the paint on the face would mar.

The issue I have with most 1/6 shirts are buttons should be the small 1.5-2 mm nail heads and the gap between buttons should be closer together showing more buttons so it looks more in scale.

Are they waterslide decals? One worry about wear comes from some around the shoulder joints.

frick, pretty disappointing and this will be a pass for me now. the world box body is a recast of the original HT Hugh Jackman. Totally wrong for the character obviously. Its a shame cause the tats and head sculpt are amazing. Timing wasn't right for this figure, the correct body just isnt out there yet.

Why is the body choice news to you? It was ALWAYS discussed as the body to be used.

Last i checked on this thread, it was the ACI Christian, which is just as ridiculous a choice as this one, besides we've all been hearing rumblings about some top secret project from iminime when it comes to designing new bodies, I held out hope they'd try to save this release by including this project in that catagory.

I realize when you started this wishlist up you weren't as experienced in the customizing world as you are now Wake, but I hope this discourages you from starting up interest threads of characters that have no way to be properly produced because of the limitations of bodies.

LOL. Come on now... someone with as good an eye as you KNOWS the picture you chose of Lenny is completely overblown and not an accurate representation of his body. Look at his right arm in the pic lol! It's like a twig.

The body being provided looks fine to me and will not discourage me one bit from getting this figure. Fantastic looking figure!

Nothing i have is cobbled together dude..

If I can't recreate something 99% accurate to the character I'm going for, I don't attempt it. I don't have the space, time, nor am I a guy that buys a custom and sells it off 2 months later when the next flavor of the month comes around.

And I've certainly never taken the time to photograph and show off anything that is just "cobbled together" to satisfy some temporary whim. That may be what you do, taken to the next level using your influence to get iminime to make, then sell off in 2 months. Thats not what I do...

I never thought that this was the perfect body for Lenny but we all know that it is the only or best choice of the available options. Having said that I also agree that some patience should be employed going forward as far as character choices go. If the proper parts aren't available on the market then it's better off waiting till they are, or even better producing what the market is missing. Nothing great ever comes out of rushing.

At any rate the fig is happening and although the body is less than perfect, the sculpt and accessories are amazing; I'm really looking forward to more updates and I highly doubt I'd be able to turn this down despite the downsides. One thing I will say is I was expecting a lot more of the outfit.

Denny has indicated to me he is still working out pricing details on this release. The tattoos are VERY TIME CONSUMING and may be offered as an pay-for-option-upgrade. I can't imagine anyone would want the figure without the tats but then again the suit look is iconic too and some may opt for the more economical option. The figure also has a lot of accessories. So the price on the top-o-line version will not be cheap.

Is it possible for us to provide our own bodies? I rarely leave the stock body on any Iminime fig (only Bateman & Blondie so far) but in this case it won't be the usual easy swap out. For the guys that want to use an official TT, can we have the option to send one over to Iminime?

No, in fact you took the cowardly approach and gave me a bad reputation score for my last post. Bro, youve got serious work to do if you want to be legitimately considered a dealer and rep for a 1/6 company. Every time a critique or negative opinion is offered on an iminime figure, you take it so personally, you start to panic and fire attacks at people. In this case, I offer my opinion that the body choice for this is all wrong, while acknowledging the great work on the sculpt and tattoos, and you in turn try to disparage my collection, and my opinion by saying I will "cobble together" anything for a quick and easy solution, when the truth is that I take pride in my collection, and time and money goes into making everything as good as it can be. A huge chunk of that money has gone to iminime by the way..

You cant expect people to take you seriously when you are entirely nonobjective, take these criticisms personally and in turn fire back on people. In fact, Ive been a customer and supporter of iminime LONG before you came along and decided to make yourself a middle man. Actually, Id be more than happy to go back to the way things used to be, deal with Denny who is a gentleman and a real businessman, and cut you out of the process all together.

Have to say I agree with this whole heartedly. Passion and enthusiasm are a great thing but you do take things very personally Wake. People are allowed to criticise Iminime providing they do it in a constructive and polite manner. Chilipep did very little if anything to warrant this argument. He stated an opinion (one I share) politely nothing more. You then flipped it by attacking him and his collection, not cool. I'm sure you have Iminime's best interests at heart but unless you learn to take a deep breath and not take every minor criticism personally you'll do as much damage as good...
