Did more weathering to the jacket. Think I’ll leave it for now

So, I decided to swap out the generic body for a Banner body when I got my new Indy head as it was a better colour match. I think the clothes hang very nice on this body, this was the body Iris used wasn't it?

Is there a knock off alternate to this body, I can't find any more Banner bodies for sale anywhere.

Took some Rit synthetic frost gray to the pants today. Came out a bit darker than I'd like (as always), but I think a bit of time in the sun to fade it will bring it to where I want.

Here's a shot next to the Sideshow TOD trousers.

Also wanted to check out how the new SOLO Han body works with the Iris outfit. Upper body fits better than the ANH Solo body and the shirt closes with no problem as the arms are less muscular. I really hate the HT shoes now. Can't wait to replace those with the Doggie Doc Aldens. (Pants in these shots are the TOD ones).

Okay, after one day I got inpatient about the idea of trying to fade it in the sun for several days and needed to see it on the figure. :D

Looks nice in bright natural light like this, but it's definitely darker in the detolf so will perhaps try some more sun fading when I feel motivated. I'd like the brown to shine through a bit more, and of course for it not to be quite so dark.

They look incredibly similar to the TOD pants which are awesome. I would just be too scared to do anything like that to something valuable like this

Don't hate on the HT boots, mate. Those are the best Indy boots out there, especially with the hot water wrinkle trick. The SS TOD boots always look too big to my eye.

I think you got the color dead on, TonTon.

Believe me, RIT gray will fade in time. No need for sun. Just wait 6 months to a year and you will see a difference. Plenty other things to fiddle with in that time.

You've got your Indy looking great, Blazio! Curious what body you're using.

Looks good there. I’ve always been fine with the color but I dig those pics.
Be honest, do you regret it? Lol ?
Ha, no regrets. Though I'm always worried I'll go past the point of no return with any modification. Pants are not exactly where I want, but hoping it'll get there with time.

Never tried that trick but the ones I was using were starting to shred a little bit. It's funny you say that about the size, I read them as bigger because the soles are blockier, so they might be a bit smaller length-wise but look bulkier to me.

Thanks, Wor! At this point I'll just let laziness prevail and stick it on the shelf. I remember you saying one of your dye jobs faded over time, so I'm happy to let that happen rather than removing dye, dying again, rinse repeat (literally for once).

Pretty sure it will fade... BUT I did use regular RIT pearl gray dye and not the synthetic RIT dye. I can't imagine there's really that much of a difference. My own Raiders pants (HT pants dyed with RIT pearl gray and taupe mix) have "faded" back to the more brown color they originally were rather than the very nice taupe/gray I had gotten them to about 2 years ago. They faded over the course of about a year in a room with very little ambient sunlight. The dye isn't lost entirely, but sort of split the difference between the color I wanted to get and the color it originally was... which sounds like it might land perfectly for you in time.

You might try hand washing those pants as well. That will strain some of the dye out, then let them dry in the sun outside.

Using a Jx01 now

Way ahead of you. Those pics are after a couple hot washes by hand and days in the sun. I actually think they look pretty close to perfect in the pics but in person they still look a bit dark and needing a bit more contrast with the jacket.

Maybe my mistake was that I set them with vinegar and salt. I had just done another dye job on another item and did it for too little time and all the dye seemingly ran right out, so I think I over compensated a bit here.

Ton Ton...where your whip come from?
Wor is correct. MFisher whips. Wouldn't mind getting another if he makes more at some point. Hate to say it but maybe he needs to raise his rates a bit. Clearly still demand but seems it's not worth his time.
