Zipper is the correct color. It's not extremely oversized but i can ask her if their are more options for the zipper. Then it's final it doesn't need to function.

Yes, I agree that the shoulders need to be brought in a little bit, as they seem to stick out beyond the body on the first prototype.

I also concur with others about the jacket collar - I think it just needs to sit a little lower and flatter on the neck/shoulders.

I’m not a fan of the zip myself and will never be zipping mine up, but I guess a black wash would dull it right down and make it more-or-less un-noticeable from normal viewing distances.

I think if the jacket is broken in and weather, the shoulders will look right. They aren't snug on Indy, they slouch because they're broken in. I think breaking it in would also yield favorable results for the collar too. This is modeled to be a new jacket, and Indy's is time worn and broken in, which I think is preferable if possible.

This jacket is completely different to the one worn in raiders. Using these as reference will take away the accuracy of the jacket. But thanks for your input.

Me personally i do believe the shoulders are broad as noted and the collar is very off also. I also don't see the pocket buttons print on the jacket as in raiders you can see them create a round shape in the leather. The zipper is fine in color but i will ask if she can find a thinner version that is in scale with the same color. Overall the outfit is nearly complete the pants are done (that's if iris got my TOD pants and used them for size ref) all that is left is the jacket.

Already did. Since she finally showed me jacket proto we can go over corrections and once that's done she can start the rest of the run. I will ask are you ready to jump on?

Here's a photo of my Wested Indy jacket for reference:

The zip is brown and the teeth are fairly small in proportion and are brass in colour not silver. I think that's why Iris's zip is so jarring.

However, the zipper in Raiders was silver in color painted brass (though there are shots in the movie where it changes from brass to nickel). The thing about Wested is despite being the original makers of the Raiders jacket, they're not as accurate as one might think.

It's not only the colour of the zip, but the size of the teeth and also the shininess of the zip.

I don't ever remember watching Raiders and thinking to myself "whoah, that zip is bright"

If you don't think that the zip Iris used is jarring then I guess we will have to agree to disagree

(ultimately, I don't think the colour matters all that much, be it silver, brass or brown as the Yunsil one is, the colour looks different in different scenes anyway, what matters most is the size of the teeth imho)

I thought Peter Botright, who became the owner of Wested, designed the original Raiders jacket? The Hero jacket as it came to be known.

I agree the zipper is too large at this point. If it were smaller, I wouldn't mind the nickel finish in the slightest. However I don't know if an actual metal and in-scale zipper exists. Plastic is probably what will end up being used.
