Please put me in the list

Yep! Not finished yet so no ordering information has been posted. Once I am finished, though, will be soon.

I also noticed a relatively glaring issue that will require some decent correction.... but there is little to no spacing between the lace hex nuts. For the life of me I couldn't figure out why, but now I can see it... the flaps where the lace nuts are are not long enough... i.e. they don't extend down toward the front of the boot enough. This has left less room for the nuts than there should be, thus no spacing. I will remove all the lace nuts and extend the flaps, then put them back in with the proper spacing. Frustrating to have gone so far without noticing this, but it shouldn't be a terribly time-consuming correction.

I made a little, CRUDE, diagram, to show what I'm talking about... red area is the flap I am talking about. I would want to move it down toward the new, green outlined area.

I'll talk with greatlakes about it... I don't know if we have an official list going, but we probably should:rotfl

Either way we''ll have you down as interested!

Made the changes I outlined before to the left boot.

Smaller sole, extended the flap with the lace nuts on both sides, increased the distance between the lace nuts, and added the thin trim between the sole and the boot.

I think this looks markedly better. Let me know what you think!

Alright guys, I sent each of you a PM to verify your intent on getting the Torrance boots that Andy has done for us. They are just about ready to be casted so we need a firm commitment. A few in boxes were full so I couldn't get those couple people the info. Please clear some space (Raymond).

I'm in for these, what's with the laces? Were there no laces on his boots?
No I was just trying to decide on sculpted laces versus adding in real ones after casting.

I'll probably do sculpted since adding laces involves drilling on every pair after casting.

So far, I have heard back from eight people who are still in. Let's hear from the rest that I messaged and maybe the couple who I could not get a message to.

That's fine by me! I don't have a minimum or limit so this is just to get numbers for casting. I have several people outside of SSF interested as well.
