Just a quick update if anyone still remembers this thread? I found a bit of time yesterday to test paint apps. I think I have a good technique for glossing the gun (without varnishing and keeping the grip matt rubber. The watch is more tricky as I still need to figure out the tiny ring decal as well as the lens. I have a few more tests for those. In the meantime I'm sending these over to test if they can be resin casted, though the watch is so fragile I doubt it would survive the process, so it may have to be a case of me cleaning off the 3d print wax and sanding each one by hand which may bump the cost up. I want to offer these as fully painted and finished peices, unless anyone wants to specifically have them as raw prints/casts.
So yeah lots of work for small items and I'm more a computer person than fiddly hands on stuff
