Just a quick update if anyone still remembers this thread? :D I found a bit of time yesterday to test paint apps. I think I have a good technique for glossing the gun (without varnishing and keeping the grip matt rubber. The watch is more tricky as I still need to figure out the tiny ring decal as well as the lens. I have a few more tests for those. In the meantime I'm sending these over to test if they can be resin casted, though the watch is so fragile I doubt it would survive the process, so it may have to be a case of me cleaning off the 3d print wax and sanding each one by hand which may bump the cost up. I want to offer these as fully painted and finished peices, unless anyone wants to specifically have them as raw prints/casts.

So yeah lots of work for small items and I'm more a computer person than fiddly hands on stuff ;)

That's nice you are still making all this.I believe you'll offer also sculpt soon? Friend of mine is making DC now, but he chooses Casino look, because we all respecting you very much and are waiting for yours Skyfall sculpt as you announced while ago :)

Hey Gido, sure it's in the pipeline. I need to redo the sculpt first after finishing up a few commissions.

I'm getting the gears in motion for these :) Just ordered a load of paints and equipment to get a nice reflective chrome finish for the watches. I think I have figured out the lenses, so need to do a few tests on those. Here is a test for the Dial decal. 7.11mm small! Will be opening up a sales thread as soon as prototypes are done and migrating the interest list over to that.

Added :) I'm getting new prints of the watch as well as awaiting decal prototypes to arrive from Australia. Will start working on the prototypes soon.

Added. Just got the new 3d prints for the watch making them stronger. Waiting on decal prototypes. Hopefully we should be seeing the prototypes soon.

Added. Ok guys the list has got pretty big and these are time consuming items to make, so thinking about closing it at 80.

I also received the lens prints and decals. The decals look amazing! I can see all the little numbers on the dial :)

These look to be coming together absolutely beautifully, Beastmaster, but please remove me from the list as truthfully I've taken a step back from a lot of customs since I expressed my interest here.

Hey all, so this is starting to come together now. I will start taking payments soon, as that should motivate me to finally start working on them ;) I printed these from my 3d printer and they look fantastic so I no longer have to rely on 3rd party 3d print services. Also I glossed the 3d printed lenses with future wax and they turned out crystal clear and slot perfectly inside the watch. The only thing left to test is the silver chrome finish for the watch. Will hopefully have the samples ready to show soon.
