I'm 50% through on the game and I absolutely love it!!!

And yes, I definitely plan to do Joel and Ellie. Jen and I are finding possible bodies to use for Ellie. She's looking into some Obitsu bodies that might work for Ellie. I might use the ACI Christian body for Joel. Anyone know of a way to get some screengrabs from the PS3? His shirt and jeans shouldn't be too hard to pull off, but there's not a lot of detail on the backpack.

Jen found this Obitsu body which might be perfect for Ellie. It stands 21cm tall, which is about 8.24 inch tall.

It's about 1500 Yen, which is about $15.85 and shipping is about $20 or so to the US.

So with a headsculpt, it will probably stand around 9.5 inches or so which will be close to Joe's shoulder on a Hot Toys True Type. They also have a 23cm one, which will probably stand about 10.5 inches tall and seems more correct to some of the images I've seen. She stands up to about his shoulder so Ellie is not tiny by any means. I think the 23cm one is a little closer since Ellie is 14 years old.

That's great news. So John you're planning on doing a headsculpt for both? I would definitely want an Ellie as well.

There really isn't a lot of pics of the back of the shirt that I can find, but here is two good references on the front.

The Last of Us Wikia is a good reference. Do you want me to make a Ellie list John? I can change the title of the thread to Joel and Ellie.

Yeah I plan to do a full figure for Joel and Ellie. I think they used Billy Crudup and Ellen Page as the inspiration for the look on the two from many of the pics I've seen. It might be fun to use them as a base to sculpt from.

I got some good pics of the backpack so I'll have Jen work one up to see. The shirt fabric on Joel will have to be custom printed to get the color and pattern correct. I also found the 1/1 shirt ND made as a collector's gift on eBay too so lots of good references so far.

Hey guys,

I apologize for derailing the thread. In my excitement for the game and characters, I forgot the common courtesy of discussing Commando's excellent sculpt and Natchan's outfit set. Please discuss and support them. I'll refrain from using the thread to brainstorm and I'll create my own thread when I'm ready to work on Joel. I have a bunch of figures I still need to finish so it will take some time. Again, I apologize for derailing the thread.

I'd definitly be interested in both for sure but depending on price for me. I loved this game, will check out IDM's thread though aswell as i'd much prefer a joel and ellie combo again depending on prices .
