Got my sculpt a couple weeks back and man is it amazing. Thanks again Commando. I'm lagging on putting my Joel together though. Still looking for a better revolver.

Do you plan on doing commissions on yours? If you do that say, would you do all of them as wood?

It all depends on time and quality. I'm pretty good at these things but if it doesn't turn out, well you know. I'll post pics of the bow when finished.

Thanks for the heads up. I snagged one from eBay. Love the bloody machete and I will modify the wood thing to have scissors on it.

Got my Maisto holster today. Thanks man it's great. Just waiting for my commando head, the body, and pants to show up in the mail and I'll be all set.

I'm gonna look for a revolver to put in the holster though. I was going to use a DX Indy revolver, but it's a little bit and I really have to jam it in there to fit. I don't want to mod the holster if I don't have to.

I'm glad you like the holster! If the revolver fit is too tight you can use a razor hobby knife to scrape out a small amount of leather to make it fit easier. If you don't want to use a knife you can wet a brush and soak the inside leather of the holster, then set the revolver and let it dry. It will dry to the shape of the revolver you are using. That is the nice thing about leather.

More work on my Joel is finished.

I cut the bottom cap off the torch and shortened the socket for the bulb and try to paint it game accurate. There is a black strip under the switch to it in the game, but it didn't look good so I just painted it gray over it.

The weathering I did to the filter to the gas mask. I'm a noob but I like what I did.

The bow, what a pain in the *** it was to get a color I could settle on. My girlfriend was a lot of help in removing the first paint scheme I wasn't happy with. It's the best I could do. I tried to make it wood colored the best I could, I didn't make it a solid color which you can't tell from the picture. I wanted very very light streaks of black in it to give it that wood streak look.

My new addition to the shelf.

No, it was a shotgun from a shotgun set. I can't recal the maker though, sorry. It was a fairly old set too. I also did a tiny bit of customizing by shortening the barrel.

Whats the best kind of paint to use for the tank and for the lens? I wanted to do the same thing but I have never painted anything like this before.

Do I need to scuff up the tank to make the paint stick, etc?

I didn't , I just used acrylic paint and then sealed it with krylon matte sealer

you painted the lens green? I wanted to make them green too but I wasn't sure on how to go about it.
