Here is the redesigned bow. A Lot more accurate to the game and a lot better in general. Bow is longer and the center looks more like a recurve. Special thanks to Shane for being my model!

Yea it is 1.5 inches longer than the last bow and totals 7 inches from point to point. It is a pretty good size.

Edit: 3 Arrows will be included. You can start an interest list. The list does not guarantee fulfillment. I will do my best to try and make this happen.

Thank you Commando and Maisto for the sculpt and holster. Here's my WIP Joel. I still have some work to do. Have a better pack, shotgun, and bow (only temporary until Maisto's is a go). I have a gas mask I need to paint and weather. I may try to weather the clothing. Ive never done that before, so it scares me a bit.

I still have to add some cloth to the top of the bottle for the molotov. The machete from the Triad set is a little long. Over all, I like where it's headed.

Wow I always thought that Joel's bow was a recurve but it is a bulky straight limb. Oh well back to the drawing board. :slap

This is probably the closest I can get working with the material I have. Let me know what you guys think. Ofcourse this is a prototype and some changes may be made.

It's getting there, but the panels need to be a little bigger.

Those are there as a place holder for a different material. Yes they will be bigger.

Here is the bow! A lot more accurate and a complete pain in the *** to make. I tried matching all the age and weathering of the picture Snake posted and to me it looks pretty good. Let me know what you guys and gals think. I am not making any more prototypes this is the one I'm sticking with, 4 different bows is a lot of wood sculpting. This is also longer than the others, 7.5 inches end to end .
