For me, the hatted version defines the character more that we all grew up watching. That's just my thought and my opinion.
If I'm not into too many projects, I'd buy both.

As for a rubber hat, will that cause issues with painting?

I think my vote is no on the rubber hat. Maybe the hat by itself but not the one that goes on the sculpt

I’m wondering about the side profile of the hat. It looks like it slopes back too much? Or the point at top is too far tipped forward. Like it’s jetting out. Something is looking off.

Yeah I feel something off about the hat as well... But I just can't put it on words.

They probably used at least a dozen hats during filming. They're all going to look slightly different. I don't see enough of a problem here to warrant changes at this point.

The jetting forward of the front is not a natural look for a hat though.

Waruna, i hope you don’t take this criticism of your work as an insult. Just trying to point out what I see. I appreciate your awesome sculpting abilities, and have no doubt this will be an awesome figure.
