And one final thought on the cape and pants situation.... D-Art Studios does very good work and it's pretty easy to get a commission going with them. I've done it twice in the past and the work was very nice. They did both my Walrusman outfit and Mumm-Ra's cape. The material for the cape is very nice and drapes realistically in 1/6.

Walrusman cost me $35 and I think Mumm-Ra's cape was $20 or so (I did the distressing on it myself):

Yeah, Sideshow really f'd up on this one. I think they overestimated the demand when the made the proto and set the price. So in the end we ended up with a much lower quality item.

On the plus side, it's still a great piece. But they could have gone the extra mile in production and made this one of the greatest ever released.

thats good news on BOTH fronts with the tailors....but real quick question...it0778....Darknessess's(sp?) staff....that would REWAAAALY enhance the over display -a - bility of the figure once its done....can you talk to Oscar to see what the cost might be for the staff?....and again...this is just an inquiry because as i look at the proto pics...the staff looks badass...

I'm personally not very interested in the staff... but if it's offered I might buy one. But since you never saw it on-screen (at least I don't recall ever seeing it) I don't feel like it's a necessity.

Later on would be better i'm thinking. When this project was first started we where asked which accessories we prefer staff or sword. We all chose sword and unicorn horn so doesn't seem fair to be making all the sudden demands to Oscar who has been awesome enough to take on such a difficult project. I'm grateful for what we are getting in this kit and whatever extra's Oscar wants to throw in he will do it, he did a great job on his Mola Ram set and I am confident he will do the same here, but I would also be interested in staff in the future.:monkey3

I did hear back from D-Art studios and they were at least open to work on a basic cape. I'm going to send some reference images and see what sort of price, etc. and I'll share that here.

Don't want to step on any toes those, so if that's a problem let me know. But it sounds like we don't have a tailor at the moment.
