Re: legend (lord darkness) (list full!)(update page 44 casted head and legs)

I consulted my painter about this project ... and honestly I'm afraid of painting the body especially in joints with the passage of time and manipulation it may be peel or lose ink.
Hey Guys anyone think or know a solution for this?
Is there any body for base with red color from factory? (i know Hellboy body, but it was too diferent from Lord of Darkness)

Sorry for something wrong in my English.... I do my best on it hehehe
Tks

Go by Seb's way and dye the body. He did that for a Rogue Trooper and had brilliant results.

Here's a recent custom by another boardie (minivader):

Hope it helps.

Aye i would think what Seb did would work on a KP heroic. I'll get some Dylon red and give it a go.

Actually I found something pretty interesting.
You can dye easily plastic using fabric dye.

WHat I did is removed the arms, forearms, rubber chest and abb parts and put everything in a bath of blue dye for an hour.
The body was completely blue and no fera of paint rub.

Thanks to Dorgmal for the head and Cbobby for the work on the helmet!
Still a long way to go but getting there.

FOr the dye to stay on the plastic you need to add a bit of acetone in the water.

Ah it cant just be simple for once can it lol.

Any particular cloth dye and acetone, and what about quantities when doing it please m8?

Re: legend (lord darkness) (list full!)(update page 44 casted head and legs)

Well it's rather simple but it doesn't work all the time.

But remember to remove the forearms. Well all the arms.

It is better to dismantle the whole body. and dye all the pieces separate otherwise there will be places where the dye won't go.

Are you gonna dye yours or just paint it?
