Well it's rather simple but it doesn't work all the time.

But remember to remove the forearms. Well all the arms.

It is better to dismantle the whole body. and dye all the pieces separate otherwise there will be places where the dye won't go.

Cool tip with great results on that blue fella, but how do you dismantle the bodies and is it all plastic or any metal in there?

Cool tip with great results on that blue fella, but how do you dismantle the bodies and is it all plastic or any metal in there?

The silicone rubber part, you can heat with a heat gun be careful to keep the distance and on a low setting (you don't want to get too close to where it burns the rubber, you smell rubber burning if you are doing this incorrectly) and once it's slightly warm, take your exacto and slice once side on the oblique area. This will free the torso to where you can slide it off.

From there's it's childs play, just like any True type you take apart. Take the rubber nubs off and there's screws under neath. Depending on the body 4-6 screws on the back for torso and sternum ("for standard TT's"). After those are removed that exposes the delt articulation, same song different verse with 2-4 more screws to remove.

After you have everything apart, dyed/painted, whatever, used silicone glue, dap, superglue gel, epoxie glue, your choice of adhesives to glue back together the rubber silicone slip that you carefully slice while slipping it back on once everything is color changed.

That's it, FINITO you are done with your DARKNESS!!!!

I use that Dylon dye, it's good stuff. Shame they discontinued it But luckily there still seems to be enough floating around
