Keep in mind the more muscular the body the more top heavy it will be. The mcfarlane figure is a great example, the ankle joint made it difficult to stand up without the support of the plastic cape. I think a sculpted hoof with attached sculpted lower leg would work best, similar to how Alice from RE boots are made almost covering the entire lower leg, then for the upper part of the leg sculpted fur thigh attachments similar to the TT advanced body.

ok fellas i have another update for you guys i've talked to oscar about the legs and he's willing to sculpt the legs, not just the feet. the only body he has is the hot toys tt-m 19 body for a reference.so please lets agree on a body so i can get him the body he needs to start his sculpting.if we go with the andrew aci body i will send it to him. on a side note he said the price would go up 10 bucks more, but i think that's not bad if he's doing the legs. please lets agree on a body so we get one priority out of the way. oscar informed me once we choose a body and he starts work on the legs he will make them moveable.so they will have articulation but i'm not sure how much yet. thanks, luis

Well there really isn't a body that is even remotely accurate to the Darkness body. Tim Curry was is a full body suit, so his proportions are exceptionally unique.

That said, I absolutely don't think a TT is even remotely close enough to represent Darkness. I look over at the Hot Toys Wolverine on my shelf and it makes me laugh to think of Darkness sharing that body. Not laugh in a good way either.

I would say and ACI body is closer, but still not ideal.

With the added leg sculpt his height shouldn't be an issue, but he needs more bulk in the upper body than a TTM19 has.

Whatever body is chosen, it needs to be fully painted, so that something to think about too. What body is gonna be accepting to paint apps.

Aside from the head sculpt, the body is gonna arguably be the most important piece of the custom. The finest head sculpt and costume materials put on the wrong body will sink the figure, IMO. Darkness absolutely needs to be large and imposing. Almost comically so. One of the new, larger Kaustic bodies might be better.

@ king darkness....it's what Ive been saying as well...the kaustic plastic body or the T2 (for comparison to all those not familiar with KP)would be easier to modify into a good representation of darkness then an ACI BODY...

T2's boobs are too big IMO... Darkness is very muscular, but they are not as pronounced. Kind of the reason I think the the Kaustic or ACI would be the better choices.

I actually think the ACI overall might be the better looking of the two for Darkness... but the Kaustic does seem to have better articulation.

As King said it would be ideal to have a sculpted torso; but being realistic I know that's not gonna happen :lol

didn't say to use the T2...i was using it as a reference for those folk not familiar to imagine what type of body size i was talking about...but yes...essentially a sculpted torso would be awesome to use but it would surely drag this out...i want to already give my money but i like to think i would receive this within this year...LOL

oscar working on the sculpt and i'm waiting on the new aci body to come out which should be real soon. once i have the body i will send it to oscar and he will begin work on the legs to get it right. thanks,luis
