How could I miss this thread by now?
Would be in for sure, please add me to the list.

Will give my two cents on what outfit and things would be cool imo when things get more concrete in here.

And the quality has a major part to play. If the sculpts are undeniably their characters and the clothing is hot, you can count on half or more of that list buying. If the sculpts are off and the clothing is sloppy you might be lucky to get 1/3.

i will committ once i see the prototype! i think if its good does not matter timing, it will spread by
words of mouth like fire.

Timing matters if you want to sell more. in a years time the hype will be gone. It's a great film but not a classic imo. It's still up there on people's favourites list, in a years times I cannot see it still holding that place.
Strike while the irons hot....

Very interested in the King and Django. Tried to start a commission myself but it just sort of faded. Would love to be added to list if not to late

Personally I would rather have quality figures a year down the line than half assed ones soon.

Why would they be half assed? Just because something is actually started when an interest thread has been popular, doesn't mean the quality will suffer... I would assume the same production would apply now and also in a year??

If an artist takes a month to do a sculpt for example, but has 3 months or a year, how would that effect the outcome?

And of course, Hype will sell more of something. That's just common sense...my point is that more sales will happen now than in a years time...

Guys there are a lot of projects on Denny's hands right now. Remember he is not only delivering previously ordered figures but he is working on orojects that were greenlit 6 months ago whilst preparing figures that have interest threads that were over a year old. It's not by choice that things take long. For every person in this thread bothered by the amount of time it takes there would 6 more of all those projects were abandoned for this one.

Thanks guys. I am sereiously thinking about it but quietly, I will suprise you later.
you know, nowadays, it's difficult even to custom works, many of licensors are looking at me. so I try to limit my writing in public places, you know what I mean.

thanks! I appreciate it.

Denny

Looking forward to some more of your work. First figure I just bought last week was Riggs. Very well done and looking forward to more.

Sometimes its not just the interest by people that makes a character being made. It is also interest of the artists to do something. Irrespective of the sales.
