The Old Snake figure head was hideous so anything is better than that :lol

If the paint wasn't so bad it wouldn't be as ugly.

Yeah I took the head off my old snake to repaint it , looked at it and did not bother no detail there to even paint.
It would be like trying to polish a turd:rotfl

All their headsculpts have no texture at all. They should just stick primarily to Anime characters.

What happened to the snake figure? Lol wanna sell me it even in that. State?

Hes got a different body and wanted to paint a camo effect on part of the suit, i was wanting to do this for ages but i never display my own stuff so will most likely sell him once he is all done

Exactly what i did, he does look better with a repaint but as you said its just to soft and lacks detail

yeah totally agree, ive been looking at getting Ed from full metal alchemist, the head sculpt on that looks spot on

Will you be doing snake head for the Medicom snake eater figure?
Also have you ever thought of casting mgs4 armour plates in resin?
As I have always wanted to replicate when it fist shows the cammo change with the water melon marks on the leg

I intend to do a few big boss versions i think.
Why not just paint it on the suit? thats what i did on mine and its taken ok, ive taken the suit off a couple of times and the paint hasnt cracked

It's useless to recast the sneaking suit in resin.
You won't be able to move the figure at all. The vinyl takes the paint perfectly and doesn't crack. It isn't rubber but vinyl. The one I made was green to begin with.

i just painted straight on with acrylics, i imagine if primed it would crack

How did you do the Solid Eye? Did you make it or did you steal it off the Medicom? Looks great by the way.

Great work on old snake. I would have prefered a version without the solid eye though. I think it make him look too much like big boss with it. But still great

Cheers Seb, i was going to him without but had a change of heart, as i want to do the burned version as well and dont want to many version of the same head


Started on MGS4 Vamp as well, tried him before and it looked arse lol so hopefully will come out better this time
