Re: Wonka limited run 30 by Rocco and Rocco's Tailor. 20 spaces filled

I'm shipping my stuff tomorrow.

Anyone else have them in transit? I am just curious how many people have paid out their balances for this project.

Re: Wonka limited run 30 by Rocco and Rocco's Tailor. 20 spaces filled

Seems like things are at the CDR stage so I'm trying to add up the costs to be able to decide about going all in - are these numbers approximately correct for both Wonka and oompa?

sculpts - $250
clothing - $400
paint - $200
hair - $75
wonka body - $50

What am I missing? is a cane included?

I would be curious about an updated breakdown as well.

Re: Wonka limited run 30 by Rocco and Rocco's Tailor. 20 spaces filled

The Caine is included :) Shipping is estimated around $30-40 max.

Box with COA are covered by myself also clothing may possibly be cheaper I'm not sure yet though.

Was $400 for clothing something that was already stated? Don't remember hearing that amount.

Any updates?

Re: Wonka limited run 30 by Rocco and Rocco's Tailor. 20 spaces filled

Boxes proto is being worked on.

Proto paints for wonka sculpted hair and ompa with 2 hair colours will be worked on shortly and finally Sculot sent to andy to hair so that you guys can choose which you like best. Also if you guys think there's anything better that us guys could do on the sculpts such as hair material etc please feel free to say...... Guidance from you guys always helps a little.

No word from Yunsil last message I received was one this month saying she'd contact me in May letting me know if she can tackle this.....Current debate is the hair colour of the Ompa. :dunno

Happy Easter guys. :)

From what I have seen it looks like a deep greenish brown. I am the wrong fella to ask since I am color blind! Greens and browns are a struggle lol.

Do you have reference shots? I have the ability to do blu ray grabs if needed.

That's what I thought rainmans was a brownish but the bluray it's shinny green. Feel free to do screen grabs bud would be helpful :)

Haha at least you can tell green from brown lol.

A screen shot from the blu-ray would be great. I believe it shows the hair as a bright shiny green..

Just saw the picture above after I posted.

Great shots!

Great shots!

Thanks! I can definitely pull more if we need specific references to things for the painting / tailoring. We do still need to see how the socks would need to be worked out for the oompas.

Re: Wonka limited run 30 by Rocco and Rocco's Tailor. 20 spaces filled

Hey guys so I need your advice some of you have mentioned about the socks on the ompa right? What is it that needs fixing? Just need some guidance.

There really needs to be real shoes made to slip over the real socks. Rigjt now they are both sculpted and no cupcake on the tip as it should have. Was RM with sculpted shoes? Real socks?

Was the cupcake supposed to be made with pom poms? Or what was the solution for those.

I do think the shoes are more like a slipper in the film. The Rainman version it looks like the socks do not tuck in at all. I could get some screen grabs tonight to see how they are on screen. The way they look in the movie would be a nightmare to create with the right angle as far as tailoring is concerned. I guess the solution to this could be in the tailoring? I would need to see some closeups of the sculpted foot to see what it would do.

Re: Wonka limited run 30 by Rocco and Rocco's Tailor. 20 spaces filled

Thanks for the help much appreciated, I know that the Pom poms weren't sculpted they were real hoping to have them real on this too.

Watching the bluray as we speak getting ideas aha!

having the pants go down over like Rainman's is the only way to do it. Then after I paint them a real pom pom would have to be applied to the shoe. Not sure but I think since the feet don't come off all clothes will have to be tailored to the body? Not sure how that will work

Re: Wonka limited run 30 by Rocco and Rocco's Tailor. 20 spaces filled

On RM's, the pom pons were definitely not sculpted. This seems to be tricky figuring out the shoes, pants, etc.
