I think doing the socks the way Rainman did it is fine. However we do need a solution for the pom poms on the shoes right? I think it would just be little pom poms with paint swirled in.

I agree. Doing the socks like RM did is fine. Is the brown swirl painted on to the pom pons?

Just a quick update: message from Yunsil we are currently discussing the flower pattern and we are going to use Bernad2002 design: debate is do we have silver or gold stem glitter?

Proto will should be shown in June!

if there's any spaces left spare cast's I will open up a week so people can get in if we have some spare slots.

Yunsil seems pretty keen on making this look awesome!

isn't yunsil lthe same tailor that did the original RM outfit?...if so....didn't she have a rule of not producing something that was done with RM....if that rule has gone out the window...i would LOVE a Pee Wee suit!!!...

My understanding is that if its different patterns, fabrics, etc its fine. It will definitely look different from the Rainman version but not in a bad way!

Good question on the glitter... I think its gold? I can look at the film and see.

I am stoked that Yunsil is on board.... the tailoring on the Calvin Candie set looks absolutely gorgeous... it gives me super high hopes for this!

Me too it took a lot of hard work to persuade her..... But I want the best! I have high hopes and I'm paying a lot for the proto so hopefully this turns out awesome!

As for the Puffs I'm not sure they will be real with painted swirls I'm hoping I don't know if Yunsil is doing them or Rahmier I'll need to find out.
If Rahmier is doing them I may suggest not gluing them and I'll glue them when putting the sets together in their boxes etc.

So glad to hear Yunsil is on board! As far as the pom pons go, I would ask Yunsil how they were done on the RM version. If nothing else, we can get a good idea of the best way to proceed.

Anyone get a chance to tell if the flower pattern has gold or silver?

Its a silver gold - hahahah.
Gold will be too yellow, and silver will be too white - it should be a very pale gold if possible...
RM's is silver though....
