I was wondering the same thing actually, it looks like hard lines to define the lips? It looks a little off to me. The complexion and hair is looking really good!

Yeah here is a before and after. I sanded the bumps down as much as I could on the painted on. Notice the right side where there was a rough patch that I smoothed out. As good as it's gonna get guys.

It actually looks a lot better in that lighting... I think it made the lip lines look far more dramatic in the initial reveal.

I can try on a cast but these were originally just a paint comission. I don't think I'll have time to do em on everyone's but we will see. I'm very booked with a few runs of my own project starting soon. These changes should have been made before casting really

I hear you Jake! I'd like to say thank you because you've done an amazing job if you guys had seen how rough the cast's were you'd understand. I almost wanted to commission a new set of sculpts but that would of been wasted money for you guys. Keep up the awesome work Jake!

Thanks Godfather! It will look good I'm not saying it won't but if I have time and depending on how many sets I do it is possible. I'll try it tomorrow and post pics. I'm willing to help make em look as good as possible but with all the other stuff I have lined up I might not have time....that's all I'm saying. If I went into the project knowing it all and what would be needed to be changed then I could have planned more time for it

I think there are two ways to fix it... One is to soften it...or to continue the line since it looks to stop to make a true lip. Either way I actually think the sculpt is looking better in the new lighting.

I seriously applaud make for his work and will be messaging him in a second. My concern is if we commission it more money out your pocket but you'd get a way better sculpt. I'm only asking due to some requests please post your thoughts.
