I'm not sure if that is sideburns or his hair sticking out in front of his ear. I see a little of the sideburn on the lower portion.

It does transition into long hair pretty quickly. That is why on the sculpt it transitions at the top. He has luxurious sideburns that I could never pull off growing haha. They could be a little thick but its hard to tell really. I think in the end the hair will mesh in with it and make a nice blend.

Great photo's to see the sideburns, I was just looking myself, but yours are much better. Here is what I am referring to, on the earlier showing of the sculpt, the sideburns where there in width, but they didn't stick out. In this latest photo, they stick out pretty far like fish gills (can't think of another comparison). To me, they should be more flush.

Thanks guys! I think the sideburns are fine. I watched the movie recently and was surprised at how far out his burns went. I added some bulk and made it go up past the temple so it would 'flow' better with the wig. I tested the look in hand and its fine. Once paint is added, the sideburns will outline the face and blend in with the hair.
Shipping my set and owen's set to jake tomorrow so the master can do his thing. I cant wait to see this painted.

I am a fan too, I like how you tapered it up. His burns are crazy in the movie and all over the place...same as his hair. I can't wait to see the paint ups!

Right guys so again this is a bit of a pain everyone will get an inbox over the next few days that's on the list to find out who is in and out after the list was done a while back.
IMPORTANT
The set prices currently add up to just under $1000 even taking away the box it doesn't take much away.
Here's the current prices I have for his figure please let me know if your still in shipping should be November!
Remember this is a full set and only full sets will be offered! It's gonna be pricey but a true Gem!
Ompa and wonka sculpt with shoes and Hat - $125
Paint and hairing - $325
Ompa mod $25
Clothing complete wonka outfit and ompa lompa complete with little boat hat - $350
Cane - TBD
2 Boxes $40 complete with decals
1 golden ticket with special message - COA
Body -$18
Shipping TBD
There will be a pay plan if that helps 475 first payment covers outfit and sculpts then when the clothing is almost done 350 for the paint and body mod, then once the paints are done and shipped the rest will be due for the boxes etc. As 1000 is alot to drop at once.

Just to add to what Owen said, I am starting to ask for payments for the Cane's. Price is $47 Painted plus shipping. You'll have the option of having the cane sent direct to you, or for a few bucks less have it sent to Godfather so he can put it in the box with your figure.
These will be printed by Corrose so surface detail, especially on the handle will be superb! I will be sending out a PM short to all on the list with details. If you do not receive a PM let me know.
