I don't know if I ever posted this picture. I love my Oompa Loompa. I think it's one of my favorite figures and it's hard to believe it's just an accessory to Willy Wonka.

Are there different arms for the oompa? It doesn't seem possible to get mine to bend so as to be able to hold the egg.

Yeah I have different arms on mine. I had Jake switch my Oompa Loompa to a Tyrion Lannister body. He had to dremel / sand down a lot of the body to make the clothing fit, but it worked wonderfully. This allows him to have full articulation.

Getting closer to completing my Wonka.

I had time to futz with the hair today. Wasn't feeling the bed hair look when it comes out of the box, so I decided he needing a little styling.

I futzed it into position as best I could, then I took a small wide soft hair paint brush, dipped it in some hairspray (Alcohol Free) and began brushing it over his hair to get it a bit more under control and less crazy. After I was satisfied I trimmed excess hairs away until I was happy. All this only took about 45min. Best part is Wonka's hair gets wilder and wilder as the movie goes on so there's really no one way of styling his hair.

Thanks! I did the easy part, you did the hard part! I enjoyed futzing with the hair, everyones gonna go for a different look, I just wanted to post what I did to show how easy it is.

Yup for sure no way you would have been able to ship these with the hair futz. I love the paint up on this dude, skin tone is on point!

Thanks bro! Haha yeah Gene's hair is very unique to say the least!! Only way to do his hair is with real hair.

Have fun guy's putting yours together, I'll post my Oompa soon. Really starting to fall in love with this set, best Wonka/Oompa out there.

Wow Great work with the hair Mike, these actually look a heck of a lot better than the proto, the neck being cut down really helped as well.

Just a quick show I had a few Gobstoppers laying around so I decided to give it a shot at painting 1.

Thanks Owen! Man that's sweet!! Nice job on the paint, great work.

I wanted to post up some completed pics of my Wonka and Oompa. Still gotta finish the base decal but will do that this weekend. Pics aren't the greatest but you get the idea. Also a few close up's of the Oompa's eyebrows I redid. Nothing big, but I know a few of you were curious and poking fun about it. To each his own but I liked them better this way.

I was super pumped to finally got this piece in my collection but now due to some issues I may just have to let this set go to pay for some medical stuff! I don't want to and I'm still trying to find away around doing this. So if you see it in the FS section you'll know why. Life can be a kick in the nuts sometimes and then a kick to the face for good measure.:slap
