Just thinking about it and I probably wouldn't pose him without his hat on so, I'd probably opt for sculpted hair.

No offense, karamazov, but I think Rainman's usage of real hair on his Wonka is great. I seem to remember it took him quite a while to find what he ultimately used, so I don't know if Rocco will have the same kind of luck tracking some down if real hair is going to be an option here.

Godfather - If real hair is going to be offered, would that be an extra added cost to the estimate already quoted?

Because I need to know exactly who is having what hair so rocco and can make certain amout of bold sculpts a poll wouldn't tell me nothing apart from how many people....... So when I get home I will send out pm's as I need to pm people about what sets they are having to aha.

Assuming I am reading your post correctly, you can do a public poll with multiple options, forcing folks to pick one, then you can disregard votes by those who aren't interested:

-sculpted hat and no hat
-sculpted hat only
-real hair

Just trying to make it easier on you, since this wouldn't require much work.

If it is removable with sculpted hair, as pointed out, he would have flattened hat hair. So that wouldn't work for anyone wanting to pose him without the hat (I can't imagine more than a small handful. . .but I could be wrong).

I understand what you are saying, didn't at first, but do now. Too much going on in the house this morning.

After seeing a picture that Greeny posted of the RM wonka without the hat, I can honestly say that a sculpted hat on it will probably be the best idea. RM made his hair look freakin nuts without his hat on, but without hat is another story.

Better solution would be sculpted hat on head and another head without the hat and a second hat accessory to cover all grounds LOL I'm sure Full set peeps won't mind that option.

I think the hair on rainman's looks poor at best , also the scu;pt is not the best.
I don't know why people rave about his stuff?
Perhaps because it is limited?
But none of his sculpts are perfect apart from the butcher as most of his heads look chubby just look at Vince and crazy dog have cartoon like features.

Rainman's stuff is hit-and-miss. I had an opportunity to get his Wonka on the first go 'round, and passed in large measure because of the hair and likeness. Sculpted hair would be a big way of Rocco's sculpt distinguishing it from the problematic (IMO) Rainman one, and really correcting for one of its biggest deficiencies.

A few of his sculpts are off Dexter, Alex, Tyler, but when he nails it, he really nails it, Butcher, Dude, Anton Doc, and the tailoring on his figures are the best you can get at the moment.

Ok, I'm going to start Wonka soon, I'll let you know what kind of hair will be made (maybe both versions).

You are correct no gobstopper or chocolate bar. I'm sculpting a Haired version of Wonka, a bald version of Wonka, and an oompa Loompa. I'm also having the clothing for the Wonka and Oompa made by my tailor, price to be determined (need time for textiling and quotes).
