Conniption? Both threads have read "undecided" for mine for weeks, and still do. Just wanted to make sure payment was received.
Simple updates to the list in the first post would keep everybody quiet.
As a suggestion, many sale threads will make a note of "Paid" when payment is received, or sometimes you will see names moved into a separate list - from 'interest' to 'paid'.

Not trying to be a stick in the mud but since there are a number of people who are interested in this, just wanted to make sure that I'm on the list of people who followed through with payment like Maglor said. When the list gets to a certain amount, it starts to get hard to track who paid what and what not. I'm not trying to rush anything or be a ****, just looking out for my spot Appreciate the follow up though. Thanks

Had a nice exchange with MRM via text message today. He asked that I relay to you all that this is the best way to communicate with him. He always responds to text messages.
That doesn't mean you should contact for minute-by-minute updates, but if you have a question he can be reached quickly by text. His number is in the first post.
Be assured that you will all get your heads. And MRM's turn around time is faster than most.

I'm sorry if I've given the impression that I'm impatient or that I'm trying to pressure MRM to work faster. None of that even crossed my mind. I was merely trying to find out if I was in fact noted as a paying customer. When you go to any store you get a receipt. When you buy something on-line you get a confirmation email. Although I can prove I payed through PayPal I just wanted to be sure that payment was associated with my order here. Make sense?
The reason sale threads traditionally use the first post to indicate that payment is received from specific members/customs is not to 'put their name in lights', it's simply a receipt of sorts and, to use your word, as a courtesy to the buyer). It puts the buyer at ease that payment was received and that the seller is clear that the PayPal address is associated with a specific person on the interest list. Speaking for myself, once I see evidence that payments received by a seller, I shut up. No need to pester anyone about how fast it's delivered. It will get here when it gets here.

well then i missed it and i apologize but i didnt see it in this thread. if it was in the other thread then i havent checked as i transferred the list here. and really, all you needed to say was i paid on such and such date for such and such. there have been a number of people who have begun to get antsy when the list hasnt been updated all the time but i have stated that i wouldnt be doing that anymore: it's just not worth it. i am not mad at you. am i a bit frustrated? yes. not with you but with the way things get handled in the forum. but i realize, and zack realizes, there is no point in trying to fight it. people will just have to be a little patient and trust that they will get what they paid for, in the order in which they did so. beyond that, i dont really know what to say. apologies for any confusion. you are noted as having paid.
