His work is all over the interest threads. Ive never heard of any issues with him

I forgot I asked another local US sculptor if he would be willing to take on the work. He said he's really busy and may or may not do the project towards the end of the year if he could fit it in his schedule.

This was when I proposed just a left hand idea, which quoted $50-100.

Just getting some ideas, would everyone be fine waiting a few months to get an artist that does some great work and would be considerably cheaper? As I said, $50-100 per left empty hand, not sure on the price of the head (trying to get that now).

And for those who want the hand/head option, is everyone okay with Shelly? Would you want a "dead" expression on his face or something that's slightly comical?

I asked if the price is flexible depending on the amount of interest we get, and if he could accommodate both sides (hand vs hand with head).

$140 - hand
$220 - hand with Shelly's head

These are painted.

I would be in for hand with head. I mean $220 for hand AND head is a really good deal plus they come painted.

I know for sure Caine does not put out painted sculpts, only that they come unpainted.

Legio7 sculpts and paints his own work. He even hairs the sculpt upon a request. That's why I said $220 is a very good deal for a painted hand and head. You'll be getting one of the best and talented artists. I own several full figures of Legio's.

He is that good. He used to partnered up with 8bit Commando when they first joined on here and he left to form his own team hence Legio7 Workshop. Mostly he does business on Facebook. I think one of his partners is on here I'm not sure though. I can post pictures of his work on here if you want to check em out.

I talked to them a few days ago and they definitely want to take the commission, they're just waiting on DarkMario to make the decision whether to bring them on board.

That decapitated head us going to look good on the statue. Just to clarify will we be able to display the machete hand with the new hand and head?

Yeah the decapitated head will look great with the statue. The plan was to replace the machete hand with a new left hand and head, but you made me rethink that maybe it would look better to have Jason displayed with his machete and decapitated head AND his speargun with a new left hand. We already have a right hand I am wondering if we could corporate the head onto that right hand?

DarkMario- if you're not comfortable with sending Legio your hand for them to use as a reference then I would be more than happy to send it to them. Having the hand will help them sculpt a new left hand then match the paint skin tone on it and then sculpt the head to fit in the right hand. I wonder if we want the hair on the sculpt to be sculpted or haired? Shelley had a perm like thick hair. I don't know if real hair would work? I wonder if Legio could sculpt the hair to make it "hook on" the right hand's fingers to make it look like Jason is holding it?
