Paint cost

New to custom figures, trying to determine what is the average paint cost. Not sure if I'm being charged market price or a higher price because I haven't dealt with artist before. Any suggestions?

Depends on the artist. I'd say anywhere between $60-75 per head is the average range.

Being quoted between $140-160, for paint, custom sculpts, run about $300, no paint, but same sculpt, just ordered including mask off sideshow freaks (no paint) cost, $97, go figure....
