i personally get darko to do all my paint jobs and this guy is AMAZING!!! most of the figures he posted are the ones he did for me.

Your painting skills are really good and I bet you will get a lot of business with your prices. A lot of people are just looking out for each other which I appreciate. I haven't been on the forums long but I have gotten some really good deals and seen some great customs. I may have a Punisher head that I would like you to paint since I can't paint at all. How much would shipping to Texas be?

Just thought I'd write a little about my experiences with Darko's work.
So first off the prices are unbeatable and with the quality he produces he should be charging a lot more lol but hes an honest young dude that's eager to impress and satisfy. he's as professional as the rest of the greats on this board. His attention to accuracy never seizes to amaze me, such a perfectionist at his craft. I own 13 of his customs with more on the way lol
For all you customizers out there I HIGHLY reccomened commissioning Darko, I guarntee that you will not be disappointed. I will be posting images in this thread shortly to show off some of his work.

And congrats Zack for finally throwing yourself out there. Your going to kill it as always anic:

hey Mr. Ecko,

you have nothing to be concerned about here. Darko is as legit as it gets. There is no need to hurt his shine. Let the man do his thing without your negativity. When I get a chance I will upload some of my figures that I own that were created or repainted by Darko, hopefully that will be enough proof to ease your suspicion. Although I'm sure your opinion is the least of Darkos concern. Anyway 1/6 collectors give him a chance, he's great at what he does.... he will knock your socks off lol

first of all I was not posting anything negative.
I was just warning freaks and give them the heads up about a member trying to sell when they don't have the privileges to do so.
a new member with no feedback that's only been a member for a few months.
a member who has had three different accounts banned, and just starts all these new accounts for no reason whatsoever, this before I got the " story."

so for looking out for fellow freaks is considered negativity . Soyou know what I'm not going to look out for anybody on the boards.
I'll just let them get burned by people and ripped off .

because obviously its not worth it when you try to help people they just talked crap back to you.

I even had a moderator message me and asked if this guy had more accounts that I know of , so obviously it was already under suspicion from the start.

Unless Darko's plan is to end-up with a bunch of random sculpts of stuff he may or may not be interested in, I really don't see any angle for him ripping anyone off. At $10.00 or $20.00 a pop, I don't see much risk. My only concern would be he's overly enthusiastic and takes on more commissions than he can reasonably work in the time he's got before focusing on his portfolio and application for school. Burn-out is a real concern but this being some kind of scam is a little ridiculous, considering the piddling amount of money on the line.

I dunno, Nam. Sounds like he's going to be getting a random assortment of things. Maybe if he were trolling for specific stuff to work, like unpainted Velvet Morning or Trevor Grove, I could see your point. This just doesn't seem to be a great strategy for recasting desirable stuff or ripping people off. Anyway, hope everything works out for all involved.

I thought you were going to stop. Look he's Canadian. Which means he's genetically pre-disposed to be honest, polite and friendly. And like beer and Tim Horton's coffee.

I have raised the point about the Interest Section being kind of a free for all where you can make something and sell it without the same restrictions as the Commerce Section before. And I am fairly certain I have seen new people come along and sell there before meeting the Commerce Section rules without all this hub bub.

I say we go to TO and throw him in Lake Ontario. If he floats, he's a recaster and we burn him at the stake and if he drowns he wasn't a recaster and we all feel bad.
