Rainman wishlist thread

Would be hard for me to go for a guy in a plain black suit from Rainman, considering that the tailoring on unconventional outfits is one of the real draws of his work. Would seem better Iminime territory (who could possibly bring Rainman on to sculpt). Snyder-Man revealed a Vincent Vega sculpt earlier that looks phenomenal IMO.

I'll prolly get both...never been a fan of Bickle perse but the glorification in these boards just sweeps you into buying it....lol....if and when he is made....i'll prolly pick up a headsculpt + set...never seen the movie

I definitely need Jules & Vince and the 4 major Reservoir Dogs in my life. But I agree that they are just black suited dudes and would be better tackled by Iminime.

IDK why Rainman's efforts in helping Iminime seem to be lack luster. There has to be a reason why his own offerings come out much better than the sculpts he did for Iminime. Maybe it was those particular characters :dunno I hate to say that he didn't put the time and effort into the sculpts he did for them, but maybe that could be it too.

Whatever it is, if he could produce Jules & Vince sculpts to the standard that we expect from him, I think that this is better offered as another colabo with Iminime than just his own offering.

I'd like an end scene bloody Butch to complete my Pulp set up and Nice Guy Eddie and Joe would round off the Dogs perfectly

But if you think his own releases have a better track record, part of it could be that he selects the characters. Maybe he avoids some characters that he doesn't think he can nail the likeness for (maybe Deniro is in that group?), but when he gets a commission from Denny for Iminime's works maybe he doesn't have so much input. But who knows?

You're definitely right about a lot of that. He has missed the mark several times for his own offerings. And I actually love my Ra's although some people have problems with it. I think the sculpt itself is great (not perfection) but it lost some points with Iminime's paint job.

And I've been thinking that about Bickle for a while now. According to another boardie, RM has told them a while ago that he loves Taxi Driver. I also fear that it never happened because RM isn't satisfied on what he can do with Diniro
