American remakes of brit tv shows fail 99% of the time.

Nah, sorry but that doesn't sound right. American Idol has done more for that genre of TV than the Brit version, the Office was very successful and better/much funnier than the Brit Ricky Gervais version. Three's Company from years ago was Hugely successful! You re-made our version of the Golden Girls. And reality T.V. doesn't count because it sucks all over the world so that's not even worth a mention besides Idol. What other re-makes are there? :dunno. I'm not really sure we re-make many Brit TV shows to begin with. I'd like to see that list with your 99% failure rate because that doesn't sound right.

Reality tv hardly counts! reality tv is **** in every country! I do love the American Office actually but it's hard to compare it to the 1 season of the original British series, short but sweet that was. American humor is easer to get and much more universal anyway so It's ok if you didn't really get the British humor.

Skins, Inbetweeners, Red Dwarf, life on Mars, The It crowd ..all failed U.S conversions., o and Sherlock Holmes's Elementary. Ya yet again inferior to BBC's Sherlock.

I've not seen a US remake of a British TV show I've preferred personally. The Inbetweeners is a good example , the US remake looked so bad.
I can't stand either of the Shameless series. I've seen almost all of the cast around Manchester of our version though. :rotfl

To say the British Shameless series didn't get something right may be the way you feel but it certainly wasn't the majority of the public's opinion over here. It's on it's final and 11th Season now !.
Pop Idol didn't do as well over here because it was basically scrapped and revamped for the X Factor which is hugely successful.
There's a lot of great articles online regarding British remakes and vice versa but I completely agree with the others when they say the vast majority of the British remakes have paled in comparison.

It's hard to remake any type of tv show and hope for similar success I'd imagine , humor differences , a completely different cast , sometimes a whole new feel and tone. I can't stop imagining a British Breaking Bad now. :lol

A headsculpt is meaningless on a shelf without the paintjob and clothing. (imo of course)

:lecture Truth, but Adam is skilled with paint. However it may be more difficult to paint a natural skin tone than just painting jokers make-up. The messy clown make-up tends to distract from quality skin tones or eyework. Rainmans paint lately has been marvelous.

So this sculpt of his I take it will never be offered? , shame .. did Trevor Grove ever attempt a Daniel Craig, surely if anyone can equal Adams it would be Trevor.

Adam is one of the best painter!

Yes!:yess: I'd rather have a Rainman Django anyways! These characters deserve that custom touch.

The Dentist, The Freeman, and the Devil!

But most importantly.....Stephen!! Sam Jackson

Ya a real shame, and even if Rainman did take these on there would be no topping there Waltz sculpt, that was unbelievable! ..such a waste.

Well, as much as I love Rainman's work, I'm always down for saving some money in this hobby and I felt the Enterbay offerings looked amazing from the press pics! I was afraid something like this would happen after hearing about the whole Neca fiasco, but I was also hopeful that Enterbay being in asia would just ignore these stupid complaints from the U.S. killjoys and move on with production! I like the idea of Enterbay possibly still offering us the head and bodies separate from a clothing set to somehow work around things similar to their Jason Bourne offering. It really would be such a waste of what looked like amazing sculpts and outfits!

I actually thought the Waltz sculpt was the poorest likeness of the bunch. I'm very excited at the prospect of Rainman doing these though, judging from his choice of characters, these may be of great interest to him.
