Hmm I didn't even know there was a Waltz on the table. I thought it was just Candie & Django.

It's horse s__t already with everything getting banned. The movie itself didn't get banned so why all the merch?

Don't worry. It was just a false rumor started by someone seeking attention. They're going forward as planned! Can't wait to have Rainman's Jules/Vince, Enterbay's Candie, Django, and Shultz, and Hot Toys' Aldo Raine and Hans Landa! My three favorite Tarentino films! Now... maybe... just maybe... a Bride...

Don't forget Reservoir Dogs! The Bride has been said to be on Iminime's confirmed list for the distant future

You lost me at Hottoys Aldo and Hans! :lol

:lol
Yes I'm a bit biased when it comes to certain figures I'm afraid. Quality over quantity has always been my motto. Options are a good thing though, even if many collectors tend to get consumed by it. "To each their own"

I hear ya. I like quality and quantity. Why not have both? :)

There are definitely some quality HT and iminime figures. Aldo/Landa may not be the best representation of HT quality, but they're the best representation in 1/6 for Inglorious Basterds.

Lans and Aldo are not the best representation...they're the only representation in 1/6 form. Personal tastes always differ so I can understand some of what your saying. I'm just not convinced Hottoys and Rainman pieces always compliment each other. Iminime offers option, I just think their confused about what type of business they want to be and it tends to hurt the product they put out.

Rainman's work hasn't always been a grandslam either, but for my money (under his Rainman Artworks brand) he's the surest bet that your going to get the best representation in 1/6 form. So if I had to insist on someone doing Travis Bickle, it would definitely be Rainman for me, given his track record of great product and consistent quality.

I'd like Rainman to take this on. I think he and his tailor will do a better job.

So, instead of doing my work, I was trying to think of what would be appealing to more than 1 person. Here's the list I've come up with:

1) Charlton Heston & Xera from the Planet of the apes
2) John Bender(Judd Nelson) - Breakfast Club
3) Paul Newman - Cool Hand Luke or Butch Cassidy
4) Robert Redford - Sundance Kid or The Natural
5) Weird Science - Anthony Michal Hall - Ilan Smith - Kelly Lebrock
6) King Kong (Might take years!)
7) Dennis Quaid & Lou Gosset Jr - Enemy Mine
8) Eddie Murphy & Arsenio Hall - Coming to America
9) Billy Crystal - Miracle Max in Princess Bride
10) Robin Williams - Mrs. Doubtfire
11) Bride of Frankenstein

There's my list.....
