Long shot...but HT never did this character justice.

Everyone keeps saying how bad Aldo & Landa were done. I haven't seen them in hand and I haven't dug thru those threads at all, but they look great to me from the pics that I've seen. I must be missing something

RM would only need to do sculpts in my opinion. What HT did was really good apart from the sculpts. Landa was considerably better than Aldo.

Would be awesome if he would offer just sculpts alone :rock

Hmmm that's interesting.

If you know where the right nooks and cranny's are these guys can still be got for about $200 a pop. I hear everyone express so much disappointment about these and that's what stopped me from picking them up.

I guess I have to hit the thread and see in hand pics. Judging by the protos I always thought it the other way around; Aldo looks ace and Landa looks good but the weaker of the two.

I'm definitely missing something because the majority of the world seems to think that both were total misses

I think that you need to be a big manufacturer to pull off Dave properly. His build up is of the same ilk as everything we see HT doing with most of their Avengers and Batman pieces. I can't see any of these customizers pulling off outfits like Batman's, Thor's, Loki's, Cap's, Hawkeye's, etc. You need factories and mass production means for stuff like that.

Not trying to be a kill joy, but I think that's a realistic perspective eace

The Twinch Squad outfit is more than 12 years old and still looks great. And i seem to recall it wasnt a big operation. Too bad it ended with people being ripped off. I think RM would be able to pull it off. With all the details though, im sure it would be over $1000.

The Twinch Squad outfit is more than 12 years old and still looks great. And i seem to recall it wasnt a big operation. Too bad it ended with people being ripped off. I think RM would be able to pull it off. With all the details though, im sure it would be over $1000.

That's what I was thinking. If it was done, it could cost so much more because of the suit. As much as I love the movie that's a lot of money, I mean I would probably get it but I could see the price possibly deterring people from getting. Of course this is all speculation and what ifs.

No, I found those pics online. Looks awesome even for today's standards. A Rainman version would be amazing, but he would have to really do his homework on it.

My 2 favourites for the next figure after Bickle would be Forrest Gump and Jack Torrance. Would love to see either of them done by Rainman!

hmmm....can't say i would be too keen on Forrest considering there is one out there that is pretty good....of course i had to get a better headwculpt but the accessories which included the bench was actually pretty damn cool...same thing for Torrence...these are all characters that have been done before that i don't think much will change other then its RM (possibly) making them...i'd like to see characters that are obscure....i mean...i get that a couple of his past selections have been made before but we should stop from that cycle...just atleast for a little while...have characters that we know no one has made yet...
