hmmm....can't say i would be too keen on Forrest considering there is one out there that is pretty good....of course i had to get a better headwculpt but the accessories which included the bench was actually pretty damn cool...same thing for Torrence...these are all characters that have been done before that i don't think much will change other then its RM (possibly) making them...i'd like to see characters that are obscure....i mean...i get that a couple of his past selections have been made before but we should stop from that cycle...just atleast for a little while...have characters that we know no one has made yet...

Surely the more obscure the figure, the less demand there will be? This is of course if the figure is a really obscure choice. I totally understand what you are saying, but Rainman needs to make money and if he went this route would people really fork out on something they may not have heard of or seen?

by obscure i meant more on the lines that it already has been produced in the 1/6 scale before...rather then just rehashing characters that have sold for hundreds less...see...i see it as a double edged sword...why would i buy a character i picked up a few months ago and pay hundreds more??...just to say its a RM made character??...i'm not the bragging collector nor i'm I the collector that gets every character he offers up

...i get that he is trying to get as much business as he could but work from character lists that don't include characters that have been made...or better yet...try to compliment other characters that you know have been made already by other customizers...just want him to think outside of the box....to give a fair shake to all interest lists...not just the few...

That's what I was thinking. If it was done, it could cost so much more because of the suit. As much as I love the movie that's a lot of money, I mean I would probably get it but I could see the price possibly deterring people from getting. Of course this is all speculation and what ifs.

I think many of us wouldnt mind the cost if it were done right!

No, I found those pics online. Looks awesome even for today's standards. A Rainman version would be amazing, but he would have to really do his homework on it.

So many great choices, but the elephant man, I obsess to see made (at a high quality offering) sometime down the road.

So much great reference material exists for it. The DVD/Blueray is filled with awesome shots from all angles of the prosthetic mask etc.

turbo...the pics that magnus just posted are in the forefront for me....i pretty much have everything else being made that i had put in this interest thread a while ago....

Austin powers is being tackled by Mike and Moe (mike is going to kill the headsculpt and Moe's clothes have vastly improved over the last few years....not tomention SS is doing the painting on these puppies!!)

Coming to America - have all the talent behind this and will be started in the fall...so that completes the two times i chimed in here for characters i would have wanted seen...

Dracula - Armor version is one of the last characters i wanted and think it would challenge RM the most because it would challenge his skill and his skill only being that he would have to sculpt everything...no clothing is necessary for this....so this one would truly be a RM only release...

not too much for me custom collectinng wize for the next few years....i have racked up a pretty good size collection...
