This along with Frank would also be badass

One day I am going to get a campaign going for Harmonica. He always tickles a few people on interest threads but never gets more than that. Far and away my most desired figure. I'd love a Frank too (another classic actor).

I would like to see him do more genuinely classic films in general. Regardless of film, would also be nice to see him tackle some more iconic actors like a Pacino (Serpico?), Bogart, Jimmy Stewart, Marlon Brando (Stanley Kowalski?), or one of my own personal favorites--Lee Marvin, the king of bad ***

I'm with Kara here RM needs to go back farther...a Brando from Streetcar or On the Waterfront would be amazing...I'd like to see him tackle Paul Newman as well..too many recent characters. But that's what the kids want I suppose? :dunno

Definitely a Paul Newman. Cool Hand Luke, Butch and Sundance, or Fast Eddie from The Hustler. Even better, Jackie Gleason! Brando from On the Waterfront. Pacino from Serpico would be sweet.

I'd concur with that. I guess I don't understand either the appeal of spending $1k on recent characters. Like take Django... how can people care about those characters the same way as something that's stood the test of time like the films above or mentioned in recent posts (supposing they were viewed young enough to have a big impact)? I get Tarantino's appeal but he's nowhere near as interesting to me as someone like Kubrick and I highly doubt 30 or 40 years from now anybody's still going to be talking about Kill Bill or Django. Anyway, not to get into an argument about Tarantino, specifically, as I'm talking more broadly. Movies don't grip me the same way as they used to in my formative years, so I don't understand the desire in general to get representations of recent characters from movies that just seem OK to me.

I agreed ith you 100%. I never understood this love fest for a character that is new or some bit player in a film. There is a reason we still talk about Eastwood, Pacino, Brando, etc. In a few years, most won't remember Django, Kill Bill, etc. They are not iconic. In my opinion, the few who gravitate toward the current big name have not been exposed to great classic films that stand the test of time, and those films and characters always will.

You shut your ***** mouths!

Jk! Completely disagree... But maybe it's due to the age difference? New movies to us are like the older movies to you guys. I don't need to wait decades to realize Inception is amaaaaazing. That said... I've begged this before... Can y'all put movie titles by your pictures?!?!

That's part of why I loooove this hobby. Half the figures I own... I never watched the movie until they were announced! I'm not opposed to using movies from decades past... But I'd welcome them if I also enjoyed the films. Soooo please include titles? Lol

im so in for a waterfront or streetcar brando.tried hyping it a while back but people didnt seem too interested then. glad we're no longer alone on that.

groucho marx would be great. actually the marx brothers, period.
and robert mitchum in night of the hunter.
woody allen, circa annie hall, maybe--though thats not too far back.

Yup :lol I'm pretty much done after Bickle. If Torrance is next that will be another crop of "experts".

I'll probably just start gathering "intel" for Shogun Assassin (Lone Wolf and Cub). Here's to him deciding to do it one of these days
