The little dude is Sam, he's part deadite and part human voiced by Sam rami that game kick's all kinds of ass!
I'd like to see him do something like beetlejuice funfair version as a DX ?

He seems to now want to go in the horror direction after the exorcist set.

I'm sure a Rainman Ash (and in particular the chainsaw) would be great, but the only thing is it's been done a fair few times before. The Beto efforts would take some beating, there's another Sideshow effort on the way, there's another company (the name escapes me) who have supposedly got multiple versions of Ash in the works and have had input from Iminime/Cult King.

I'm personally happy he seems to want to concentrate on classic characters from horror films for a while....it's just that there's other characters out there who haven't had the levels of attention Ash already has.

Random Question: who the hell's the little guy on that game cover? Is it supposed to be a deadite mini-me version of Ash? Chinny Me?

I know RM is branching out into the horror genre, but I would love to see him tackle these two. I was never a fan of the HT Aldo Raine. The sculpt wasn't as good as everybody said it was in my opinion, and of course they didn't give it that iconic expression. Their Hans Landa was better, although the sculpt was still lacking. It seemed a little soft for my taste. I really would love to see RM tackle these QT characters.

I love to hear that RM is on the horror kick! We need more customizers breaking into horror!

I do like to see that he's interested but I'm torn about Ash. There are 2 mass produced ones on the way and a handful of Beto's out there, but I'm not sure I'd be 100% opposed to another take. While I favor Beto's over all I still think that none have been perfect. It'll be near impossible to beat Beto's accessory spread and we've yet to see the final product of the MP's, but...

I think Gage would be a perfect project for him. It's a character that isn't very likely to be done by a licensed producer and there have never been any collectibles made from Pet Sematary. Plus he's been on a roll with the custom bodies which would be needed for Gage. What better accessory than Church!

I too hope to see him carry on taking inspiration from the horror genre but agree that Ash has already recieved adequate attention. With the prevailing popularity of mainline icons like Myers, Krueger, Vorhees, Pinhead etc there are so many other properties out there that remain untapped in classic horror.

I'd love a Shining style multi-piece effort for something like Invasion Of The Body Snatchers for example:

That first picture kind of looks like Patrick Stewart stepped into one of the telepods from The Fly but failed to notice there was a block of blue cheese in there with him. Came stumbling out as some misshapen, genetically spliced fusion of slaphead and Stilton.

I have seen the remake The Thing...it was "meh" OK. I haven't seen the Kurt Russell's Thing yet...I will and if I like it I could go for getting a MacReady...I need to collect more Horror Figures...
