Hartman should be made. Classic film, iconic performance... plus, it's Kubrick. Rainman should do Hartman and Dr. Strangelove so that they can go next to Jack Torrance and Alex.

No worries, I was actually agreeing with your point. I love the movie, but neither character would stand out in the collection. Damon dressed in his t-shirt and jeans could be from several different characters, wouldn't be specific enough.

You'd need both Matt Damon and Robin Williams with a park bench for it to be really recognisable, I think.

There are tons of movies that I love (Boogie Nights probably at the top of this list) that I just don’t feel will translate into interesting figures worthy of custom prices.

Whaaaaat? You take that back...you take that back right now :crying I would buy any and all of these:

Oh yeah, someone mentioned Natural Born Killers. Y'know I've never actually been able to sit through it, purely because of Juliette Lewis. I don't know exactly what it is about her but she always makes me feel like I urgently need to go and scrub my old chap clean in the sink, even though I've been absolutely nowhere near her. I'm sure she's a lovely girl and all but, damn, she just freaks me out for some reason.

This is the Real Dynanic Duo! Natural Born Killers is a wannabe film that I'm sure Woody Harrelson wishes he could take back because he's an awesome actor. Just starting with that ensemble cast of actors and the diverse spectrum of characters they each played in that film (TRUE ROMANCE). That's easily one of the greatest cast of actors/character roles in a film since the Godfather with two average main actors that held their own throughout the entire film. True Romance is the TRUTH.....anything else that tries to be like it, get the FOH..:rotfl.....Go that way------}

Some people don't check credits I see, so I find it hard to believe they even watched the film.....but ehhhh, suuurrrre we believe you.....:wink1:

Alright, I'll take it back if you take it back about Mal :wink1:

Believe me, Boogie Nights is definitely on my top 10 fave list and there was a time that I was dying for a Diggler fig. When I first joined this forum my philosophy was to collect any (mostly main) character I dig from movies I love in 1/6 form. But the more experience I got in the hobby and the more my collection grew, my mentality and what I looked for in figures started to change.

I'm not a museum poser and I not a "set and forget" guy. I like to change up my poses and displays. I love accessories & alternate sculpts; aside from appreciating them in and of themselves, I think they bring versatility to posing, and posing is what gives these personality. So as much as I like a movie/character/whatever, I started steering away from pieces with less poseability. I feel figs that are more limited are more like statues or mini PFs, and that goes against what keeps me interested. When a pose starts to get stale or boring, switching it up always resparks my pump for the piece. Of course there are the Lecters of the world and certain others that are the exception

I can't stand her either man hahaha, also don't know why but I just can't.

Thanks for that, but I refuse to watch. Having to get out of bed to go for an urgent, middle of the night, slosh about in the sink, would cause all sorts of suspicion in the wife's head, probably leading to some totally unfounded accusation upon my return about exactly what I've been getting up to while she's been sleeping.

Anyway, if I close my eyes, I can kind of picture her face anyway:

'Bama and Clarence would certainly be amazing pieces on the shelf. Yunsil would be tested on their intricate outfits.

Plus Drexl would be an easy follow up what with the Dracula heads being worked on for Oldman right now.

No way PCK.

I am 100% with you on how incredible this figure would be. Easily one of the most iconic roles ever played.

My most wanted military figure

2 Head sculpts; one mildly angry, one yelling bloody murder
1 rifle
1 baton
1 garbage pail
1 jelly doughnut

Fully decorated shirt and jacket! I think he'd make a sick figure, but he's another one that I'm next to alone on

I've always said YES to anything Kubrick and have told Rainman this. Hartman is a must and would be deserving of Rainman's catalog, with 2 heads... one neutral and the other expressive. The tailoring on that sort of military outfit deserves top notch treatment.

Yes. Rainman should definitely consider it. True Romance Clarence and Bama would definately shine and I'm backing that choice 100%. It's too good a film.
We're gonna need to get that Hawaiin shirt and definately the gold Elvis Sunglasses for Clarence and definately the hot pink Leopard print yoga pants for Bama'

Drexel would also be welcome with the dreads, the flat hat and Leopard pajama set.

A missed opportunity if Rainman doesn't eventually do this. Having spoken to him myself about it he did say he always really wanted to do it, so maybe sometime soon

Alright, alright, I get it. :lol

I started lurking here a few months before I created my profile. My top grail figures were Mick and Mal and once I started getting acquainted with the forum, I swore this was the place that I'd be able to group up with other supporters and get them brought to life. I joined only to find out that there was very few fans interested. Four years later and still nobody cares about the good 'ol Knox kids :(. I guess the only shot of these ever happening is a small run if I can get the right people on the job.

At least you're in for Hartman though :yess:
