I was thinking of putting my Travis up for auction a while ago thinking Rainman's would be inevitable. Has he actually shown interest in making him as a figure or at the moment is it just a big want ?. Jack Torrence is a similar situation. I have the subway version ( which for the price I paid of £60.00 shipped I think is incredible ) but if a Rainman version comes along I'd probably want to upgrade it.

Im in for a Travis Bickle. It would surpass Bill in my book.
Bateman I would probably break in the end and get him too.

Bateman would be too much pressure for RM in my book. As it is, Bateman is somewhat of an easy bash and if he can't nail the likeness it will be very difficult to justify the price with all the HS out there

With Pee Wee, Doc, Bill and Wonka the pressure isnt there and the likeliness of it getting made by HT or EB are slim to none.

Yes which would be a good sculpt for Bateman? Would think a little bit of hair would need to be added on to give him that 80's look. I'd bash him with a suit and walk man with headphones and an axe!

There have been a lot of great suggestions on this thread. I'd probably be in for like 15-20 of them no joke. But if the convo is about who should be next, I'd have to say Bickle. But if it were to be one of these guys, I'd be equally good with it:

i like Prince Akeem and just watched coming to america for the umpteenth time the other day and i still recite most of the lines from that classic movie...and would love to have him on my shelf but i have to be honest with myself and say that he might be faaaaar off in RMs radar....NOW i am also a pop culture kid from the 70s-80 and think that although most of the characters that have been posted are "memorable" in their own eras....most of them aren't as "known" or as memorable as we think they would be....this is why I said that Austin Powers might be a better fit if RM is a pop culture fan....but essentially in the end...it really is up to him to decide....i just hope that the sales for Pee wee will not effect his decision to stay away from characters that seem to have a "rabid" fan base when he mentions a project and then disappear when the invoice appears....:-/
