It's happened to me many times mate!

How friendly is the hair to futzing?

Pretty good actually, the only comparison I could make would be with the BobbyC silicon head that i have, which I wouldn't dare touch.
I actually combed this gently without a problem. It's not doll hair obviously, it's a hand made item but it's pretty robust.

I've always liked my DX11 but it's never wowed me. There has always been something about it that's not quite right.

How would the jacket weathering work? Will that be a separate price and order? Might send them both to you at once if you finalized all the pricing and what not before we have to ship the head to you.

I plan on starting these as soon as possible. I will make out a plan/schedule of sorts over the weekend and post further details early next week.
