Sure, if it is fullmetal and only $40 or so, them I'm interested. I just expect the cast to be near perfect, because fixing air bubbles is a time killer.

Awesome!!

Ok, since everyone thinks fullmetal can make an exact replica, count me in as well. If not exact though, I may stick with what I have...

Does anyone have an interest in Bogie's fedora? I would be because his was very distinct...

Would it be from plastic?Better if from fabric. But we need to know perfect measurements then to fit.I guess it will be possible just after we got heads in hand.

I think the fedora should be sculpted, because fabric will not capture its exact form. Yes, after heads are complete, we can look into. I have begun to research his fedora and will post some interesting info at some point down the road...

I've been looking into Bogie's hat in Maltese Falcon, and he wore a grey Stetson Fedora. Here are some pics...do you think Ulli would be able to sculpt this specific Stetson for us? Note that it has a wide black band and a brim that's not thin, yet not too wide to be floppy. Note also how the look of the hat in profile, is not too tall...

How much could we pay for such hat?Ulli's sculptor refused to make falcon , because it could not be big price.

Well, maybe you look to bundle them together. An accurate falcon could be reasonable in the $50-60 range and a fedora could be in the $60-75 range. Together, maybe a deal for $100. They would certainly involve less expertise than sculpting an accurate head, for which we pay less. Why wouldn't a sculptor want to take these on? Those are my thoughts though...what does everyone else think? You got a good response on the falcon...Ulli's sculptor didn't want to do it?

Just my 2-cents: a hat that's not sculpted as part of a head---either as one piece or with part of the top of the head or hair removed/removable---can look overly-large and goofy.

That's I thought-like Indy Doom set.But in our case hair is very flat, tightly combed from sides-maybe then it could be not so goofy.
