Custom sleestak made by my wife Lauren and I. This was a super fun project. We sculpted a miniature creature suit over a 1/6 scale figure, much like we do in the movies with the bodycast of an actor or suit performer. Made a two piece stone mold and slush casted the suits in green latex. Trimmed them up and sized them, dealing with the shrinkage. Casted the hands and feet in resin. The head is a medium shore urethane, tinted green as well. Painted the appropriate parts the right colors and assembled it all. Hit some snags along the way-- and it still looks kinda "janky", but everyone who bought one, has said that's the charm of this character. No two looked exactly alike on the show and they were patched with textured bits of latex and the like, so we did the same thing where we found small gaps. The little crossbow and the bolts/quiver also drove us nuts to get right, but some good reference from the Westmores, and we were good to go.

Highlight of this project, was getting some love from Sid Krofft on Instagram and getting contacted by David Gerrold, the co-creator and writer of the show, who we are making one for now. Super fun figure to make. We are doing an Enik next. So, a few mods here and there, some different colors and the tunic-- and we should be good. We shall see.

Thank you. A few choice words were had with that little latex suit trying to get it on the figures, etc... but art is always a struggle right? :)
