Nice sculpt, I can not wait for my un painted one, should be any easy enough fix with a dab of glue.

Oh shoot! I hate when that stuff happens. I would recommend a dab of super glue, BUT I will get in touch with the artist.

No worries guys, I'm sure you guys are as much fans of McQueen as I am. And when I think about it, I am honestly sad that he's gone.

And please share your bashes (works in progress or finished ones). I love seeing them!

I don't know how many are aware that one of McQueen's last works was a film of Ibsen's "Enemy of the People." I saw it then at a private screening, and I don't think it was ever exhibited in theaters. But it's available on DVD now.

I knew an actor, dead now, who had known McQueen in New York when they were all struggling. He liked McQueen. Said he was a decent guy in situations where men could get very competitive over women, could view every other guy as a threat. From someone of that generation, "a decent guy" was short for "not an @sshole" and was as high as praise could get.

That's a great story! Thank you for sharing. Though I'm pretty sure "The Hunter" was McQueen's last role.

Yup. "Enemy of the People" was about third-from-last, but it wasn't available until now. It was kind of a reach-back to his roots as a theater actor in NY. He had a big beard. Studio people back then thought he'd lost it.

I plan to make this a "Great Escape" custom, though "Papillon" is tempting.
