Re: The G-Ride (Pee-Wee Herman's bike) calling for deposits

Yeah, I was thinking the same thing, just a tad on the dark side. I'm not even sure if they have a candy red color... I know I've heard of a candy apple red, but I'm not sure if that might be too bright? Anyhow, now's the time to find out! All is looking great so far! :)

Thanks man. Will have a look around, we have a cool little art shop near my home. If not, will mix my own.

Re: The G-Ride (Pee-Wee Herman's bike)

Ok deposits closed, if anybody still wants a bike, the rest will be auctioned off at a later date.
Thanks guys, your money helped me to fast-forward rather than wait for my salary to stock up on silicone, resin etc. Now I have moulds for over half the bike and started to cast, stay tuned:wink1:

Wow! Looking great. Seeing these wip pics was worth deposit. Haha.

My deposit sent as well, though I don't see my name on the list anymore. I hope I'm still safe.

Re: The G-Ride (Pee-Wee Herman's bike)

Thanks, guys:wink1:

Wow! I really can't believe how fast you're progressing on this. Rainman hasn't even started on making Pee Wee and here I thought I wouldn't have a bike for him long after I would have him in my collection. Looks like the bike might even arrive long before Pee Wee! It's so nice to see where my deposit money has gone as I've put money down on several other things in the past several months and have yet to see anything. In some cases there is no response to the status of my orders, which sucks even more! If only other folks on the forums could be as considerate and timely as you, Gary! Thanks in advanced for all the hard work to make us big kids happy! :hi5:

Thanks for the kind words. This one is just to see if everything fits, not happy with afew things but can change them on the second set of moulds. Still along way off, but you can get an idea of the finished bike. Next week will concentrate on casting the handle bar parts:wink1: Once this stage is out the way, will start moving down the list

Re: The G-Ride (Pee-Wee Herman's bike)

Finally found some small hinges. This has been the hardest part so far, manage to countersink it so the lid still looks good:wink1:
