Some more WIP of the "Scout". Roughing in the hair and beard. Still lots to do all around. I'm going to attempt to mold/cast those side hair strands separate. If it works out you'll be able to add real strands of hair over them or perhaps in their place.

I'm looking for some clear reference pics of the boots/moccasins.
Anyone know what is going on with the red bit here on the top? Is it a lace?

The red part is the instep part of the moccasin, I believe it may have a beaded design. Do a Google image search for Cree or Ojibwa moccasins for a better example of how these things look. Thanks.
