Unless you're worried about resale value it's not really an issue.

Still, 40 is pretty damn rare in this game. You can certainly still consider yourself as having a rare, beautiful custom piece.

I am not one to purchase to flip for profit but I like to have a figure that will retain its value. I look at some figures differently sometimes. I Like to think of it as special or exclusive type of figure where not many people can get so easy. Btw not trying to start anything, everyone is different.

40 is quite a bit for the custom community imo. It may be more then 40 too who knows.

Oh no I absolutely get that just don't think you have to worry about that not this one. :duff

Well I am guessing we will know once we receive the certificate.

i have been on the fence on this one. its a great looking figure. and while the movie was great, its not something i will watch again and again. so finally gave it a pass. 1100 is a big amount and had to relook at my decision several times. but happy for those who are getting it, while great just not a movie i will watch multiple times - so does not warrant a huge spend. however its a great figure indeed.

This is also an incredibly difficult and time-consuming piece for all involved. Rarely are these set due to edition size or market value but due to actual cost. This isn't the difference between producing 10,000 or 100,000 of something where bulk prices really come into effect - we are talking about producing maybe 10 or 20 more of a small run figure. Scott isn't exactly getting bulk pricing on this stuff, especially the most valuable thing he is spending - his time.

Wtf that would never happen. You shouldn't buy figures based on their perceived rarity or low edition size. You should buy based in your love of the source material.

I agree....I could care less about numbers. This piece is going to be beautiful regardless. I paid to get a Leo figure made in the highest quality. The quantity is irrelevant.

:chase:bow:peace. Calm down guys, all I asked was about price being high and the count being raised. Not saying anything else. Sorry Sorry! Can't say anything these days. :rip

I'm unaware of any custom run price ever being lowered due to an increase in run size, RM has increased run size in the past and never has he lowered the cost. Scott is merely switching the full set amount to DX which isn't increasing the edition size at all. It was originally 20 Full Sets and 20 DX which is 40 total sets. That 40 number edition size is still maintained

RM just released Psycho which was 50 DX sets and 60 Full sets between the two Full set versions plus 20 H&C sets. That's 130 sets of Psycho. This is 40 total sets.

Ok cool, I will take note of that. Forgive me Rdeezy I will go back to my cave.
I'm just giving my opinion man you're free to give yours. I'm just stating the fact that no artist has even given a refund due to increasing edition size. Even though in this case edition size has not been increased.
