BIG UPDATE!

Hey fellas. Just want to fill you in on whats going on with the project. I know its been kinda quiet, but best believe things are being worked on behind the scenes. As you have seen in the last update I had started working on Sho's Converse sneakers. Not an easy job to say the least! Delacing, coloring, weathering and relacing these little 1/6 Chucks! :thud:

Here's where we started.

And where were at now.

Someone kiss this mans dirty *** Converse! :wink1: And trust, they look even better in person!


Next up is the cape. Yunsil and I have been working crazy hard behind the scenes trying to make this work the best way possible. There is no proper reference clothing to go off of and no real great images that exisit of this cape at all. We have been working with multiple screen grabs from the start. My acquiring of the HD version of the film has led her to conjure the best version possible. And trust she has made MANY attempts! The Shogun is gonna have such presence!

Here are the three main progress points of the cape.

1st Version. Good blueprint but color was off as well as collar and lines.

2nd Version. Way too brown. More of an in between attempt at coloring. You can also see a tease of our proper belt fix.

Final Version. Fixed Collar and cut. More accurate pattern and coloring.

Lastly an update on the glasses! I have been lucky enough to acquire an actual screen accurate pair of shutter shades. Yes, the same exact pair used in the film! :rock I will be mailing these off to Corrose this week so he can get every measurement and detail rendered to the exact point to be replicated in 1/6! He said this will ensure that the shades will be perfect! They will rule all!

So that's where we are at. MG is cleaning up the sculpt then casting and then off to Surfer to start experimenting!

Sorry for the temporary silence as of late but I didn't want to update till I had some healthy news for everyone.

Also the last three spots. I have opened them all up since I never heard back from the last few on the list. They will be open till Wednesday. If any deposit is not received before then this will turn into a limited edition of 12 figures only.

I have given everyone more than enough time to get in.

Believe me Mags and I have been on this project and it has been a labor of love getting all the details just right.

I'm happy with everyone's reaction as far as the Cape goes. We pushed Yungsil to her limits that is for sure.

That Cape did not get a lot of screen time and I went as far as contacting people who have contact with the actors and that Cape has disappeared into thin air.

So now the focus shifts towards the HS, paint, hair implants, and shades.

Once again, we have pros on the job and can't wait to see the final result.

I really want to see the sculpt all wigged & painted up.

Price kept me out, but my interest in this project is up there, even if I'm not getting one. I might be as interested in updates as you peeps actually getting it :lol
