Ok fellas. It's time! Here is the prototype outfit by Yunsil. I think it looks freaking fantastic! Look at them wristlets!!!! She didn't let us down!
The only issue I truly see right now is the belt needs a little work and that is being addressed. The lower mouth needs to be removed and togue added. Plus the leopard head can use a little size reduction which Yunsil said she was already addressing. I will be emailing her the corrections later today.
I am told I will be receiving pictures of the tiger cape tomorrow as well! I'll post them as soon as I get em!
Now I have some good news and some bad news.
Ok, the bad first.
Yunsil has informed me that this is one of the hardest outfits she has ever had to reproduce in 1/6. But she loved the challenge. Of course due to the complexity of the outfit, the original quote I received has been upped. So as of now the project will be seeing a price increase. How much? I can't say at this point which brings me to the good news.
THE GOOD!
MG has had some thoughts about the sculpted glasses not translating well in sculpt because of the complex nature of the style of shades they are. So he reccomended I try and find someone that might be able to reproduce them in 3D. You know I had to go to the best of course! So Corrose will be taking on this task once the headsculpt is complete. We are making sure he has a head in hand so he will not blindly measure the shades on a generic head and then we would have real problems later on! Since the glasses will now be 3D sculpted this of course will increase the price a little as well. I am also working with Corrose on the decals that will blow your socks off when you see them. Real high quality stuff!
So overall we are looking at two factors (clothes increase & 3D shades) that I did not anticipate and are impacting the project but all for the greater good.
I truly apologize about this and I can understand if anyone wants to drop at at this point but I really wouldn't reccommend it! You guys know the price of these kind of customs are never cheap and considering the artists involved your getting the best of the best from all angles! The price increase will most likely be within the $150 to $200 range. When I know you will know. Plus, you just don't want to miss out on this piece. It's just that BAD ***!
Which now brings me to the point that I need your $400 commitment deposits for your sets ASAP. This also includes the 5 waitlist converts as you know your $200 deposits were used to secure the last available Jordan bodies for your full sets.
Please make sure to make the payment as gift or cover the paypal fees so that payment clears at an even $400.
This is very important as I need to send payment to the tailor for our outfits.
I will be pming everyone on the list this same post with my paypal address inside.
This project has become quite a burden to manage with everything coming together all at once but I'm loving every minute of it. Steve and I appreciate all the support and promise to deliver the utmost high end 1/6 custom collectible we can with all involved. When this figure is all said and done everyone will have to bow down and kiss Sho'Nuff's CONVERSE!!!!!
