The Spiders-First up SUPERIOR

Hello everyone! Since i was a kid my favourite hero was spider-man. While i'm not entirely happy with Otto stealing Peter's body,but i'm really enjoying the ride. There's no denying though, his costume is badass! Also, for a loner Spidey has quite the heroic "family". So i thought that since the chances of seeing these characters and costumes brought onto the big screen are slim, custom figures are the only solution.
Now, we'll be getting Peter's classic costume in TASM 2 so he's out of the list. The remaining "family" members are: Miles (ultimate costume), Otto(superior costume), Miguel (spidey 2099-edge of time costume), Ben Reilly Scarlet Spider(classic) and Kaine Parker Scarlet Spider(the new marvel NOW! one).
In a nutshell this is an interest thread for the Spider-Men. Vote bellow who would you like to see first and slowly all of these guys will happen (if you want of course).

First up will be the Superior Spider-Man. I have contacted TonyMeis and he said that right now he's making: Black costume spidey, mcfarlane spidey and spidey 2099. The three best classic costumes imo. The black costume is iconic, McFarlane spidey is the best r&b suit and 2099 is the best alternate universe spidey! After they're done he'll tackle SUPERIOR SPIDER-MAN! It'll be a while before he happens but still, he'll certainly be awesome!


Here are the pics i sent him and the look i'm going for. So come on people, let's make Otto happen!

Wow, that can be great! Try ask TonyMeis for suit-he is here, so he know how it going on here and he loves comics heroes and people love his suits.

You are the guys that made that awesome deadpool, right (I plan on buying one around christmas)?Is there a thread for Spidey? If not you could put it here with the other spider family members.
Well, since 2099 is already being made Otto will be first. Then Kaine and i'll probably leave Miles for last since he is a kid and he'd need a new body.

I am literally making the face and suit design in Illustrator right now. Yes the face will be made in Illustrator . No thread yet.

Nice! I sent Tony a message so hopefully when you find some time (late this year, next year, whatever suits your schedule) you can make the rest of them too.

That sucks . I hope things change and next year we get at least Otto and Kaine. I'd like to make a Flash Venom too, but i guess that's off the radar.

Finally some one is starting this! Spidey has had such a wide variety of costume's over the years, and it's about time we see some in 1/6 form! :lecture

From the list above, Superior is my main want (though it will definetly be the hardest to translate to 1/6th form, especially the lenses).

Also I would love:

Future Foundation
Big Time
Symbiote
Classic Red/ Blue
Iron (Civil War)


Would also love some Villains! - Ock (especially), Shocker, Vulture, Mysterio, Goblin(Green & Hob) etc. ...

Yeah, it certainly was. As was everything from Dark Knight Returns he did, as well as Wolverine.

I contacted TonyMeis and sent him pics of superior,kaine and flash. He said that they're making symbiote spidey and spidey 2099 right now. After these are complete they'll tackle Mcfarlane Spidey. Next is Superior! It'll be a while before he happens though. So after this post, state if you are interested.


PS: I certainly would love more spidey characters. Mysterio, Venom, Hobgoblin,etc... Hell, i'd like more comic book characters. This year i have ordered a lot of custom figures but next year i'll be going full on comics! I'll open interest threads for more comic book characters (the ones i have on my mind are: Batman Beyond,Dr Doom, Dr Strange (i have made an interest thread for him),Dr Fate and Star-Lord just to name a few). It's a shame that the only comic book figs that get made are batmen and the occassional wolvie. We need more cb love!
