I guess the solution is pretty simple, we offer the cape with Chain anyways, and it's up to everyone to hide it or not k

Exactly - that's what Sideshow did as well!

Just finish with our custom robe n cape, looks good so far. Will post picture soon. The chain has been shorten, n the collar has been replace with leather like fabric. It's now complete. Still need to tweak a bit more, but over all it's 90% ready to go.

Can I ask what is wrong with the Sideshow Cape and robe? I have the SS Vader, just never removed him from the box. And was wondering if I should replace his cape while this is available. Thanks.

The Sideshow cape is great, but a bit stiff, doesn't drape down as naturally as it shows from the film. It's really not necessary to replace it, but for those that wants extra improvement, this is just another alternative choice.

Thanks Tony, good to know. Going to have to take a look at my Vader, been a few years, lol. Hate not having enough room to display everything.

Looks real good - to be a little nitpicky, any way to hide the stitching on the robe portion more? I know sometimes what looks real noticeable in a pic isnt so in person? Overall, the cloth material and workmanship looks excellent

if there is any way to add a wire in the cape, I'd gladly pay the difference too, but no biggie otherwise...Cape looks fantastic. Love the material

I hear you, let us think of something, no gurantee, but we'll figure something out. Will post picture soon if that's what everyone prefer. Hiding the stitches.

Full disclosure: that 2nd pic aint mine! LOL - not sure if this is the movie prop or an excellent fan recreation, but that's kinda how it looked to me.

That belongs to GINO and IIRC, is one of if not the closest to the screen used.
Let's put it this way, he helped with the EFX ANH helmets.

Very nice, but the paint looks very uneven, is that purposely done that way? Or....

We found a simple solution to hide the stitches if it really bother some of you. Just fold the fabric inside, the belt will hold it together. Stitching issue solved. Simple:clap

I personally appreciate the stitching, that's heart n sew but we can also sew it without the stitching showing. It'll cost more fabric n labor. If you wouldn't mind to pay, we wouldnt mind to do :hi5:
