Wanted to create something heartwarming in 1/6 to represent this all time masterpiece in movie history since a long time: E.T.
It took a while to get a concrete idea for this project but now I started to actually work on it.

I only knew I wanted to recreate the iconic bicycle flying scene in 1/6 but especially the BMX caused some headache.
Thanks to some new tools and ideas I know I can finally actually build these but it will take some time to finish these since I will finish ongoing accessory projects first.

Want to take you on a small journey with this project.

Thank you guys for your early support already in 2019 and for your feedback! It helped a lot to get this project rolling into the best direction. I want this to become the ultimate custom 1/6 E.T. display. Having Toribox and 357 partment involved now is another big part to achieve this.

The sets need to do justice to this all time movie masterpiece.

Sure! The blanket has a very fine pattern to be printed and Yunsil will most likely be doing the actual Elliott outfit so it would make sense if she actually also creates the blanket. Edit: The blanket might not be done by Yunsil since it looks like the pattern is not printed but comes from the actual fabric.

Priority is on finishing ongoing accessory projects first but there will be progress on this project to be posted in the meantime. I actually only did 1 outfit with Yunsil by now and that one is almost closed and finished.

Ra's might be the next after some good friends here and on FB suggested to open it. Other ideas / threads were posted as Interest?-threads to see if there was enough interest but not everything is happening.

I understand I might opened a bit much of them at once though after I got some suggestions or wishes when the Two Face interest thread turned out not to be possible right now.

Edit: I deleted oboslote interest threads now.


E.T. will be a very small run but it will take quite a while anyway. As you know I usually only do accessories so this one is an exception, hence I will only create 10 sets of it. Can't handle more and I also don't want to handle more as it allows to focus more on everybody on the list.

I already asked Yunsil about Elliott. I assume his outfit is not extremely complex compared to other things she created so I hope it will fit in her time plan this year, but I think it will be next year, since others have other cool projects running with her. I have no real influence on that other than providing all reference material I have soon.

Yes, there will be a body included and the plan is to have both Elliott and E.T. painted.

Cool! I will try to stay under the 1k mark for the whole set but it will be tough. It depends a lot on how much the works of the involved artists will sum up and how much time the 1/6 BMXs will take.

Also, Iris could probably knock this out very well and quicker.

Yeah, Iris is a very good option as well, she is still looking into it as well btw. So we can still decide together. I am sure this outfit could be done by both pretty much on the same level.

I'd prefer Iris if it speeds the process up, the outfit isn't complicated so Iris could probably do as good a job on this in a fraction of the time.

Good question. Not sure if the set would work well with just E.T. on the BMX. Also all parts I will commission for this will be done x 10, including Elliott actually.
