At the end of the day those who want the figure will do what it takes to get it. Unfortunately the licensors all want to ***-rape the manufacturers and the costs of producing these figures are not cheap unless you have factories with injection molding and headsculpt printing techniques like hot toys. Denny has repeatedly said that he doesn't make a lot of money to doing this. He only does it out of love for the art. And the fact is he could take 8 months and it would still be faster than Hot Toys.

It's a little more than that. Following around these projects to Facebook or email when they have to go underground like the Space Trucker is more effort than I am willing to put in when other customizers are offering the same characters that can be obtained with a lot less hassle. Worrying about missing a preorder or having the funds available at the right time IS an inconvience for me. Thier business model seems to be working great for them so it's all good. Look forward to seeing what they offer. Nobody has really nailed Mcclane yet, sculpt wise.

Likewise, really hoping there is a separate HS option with this. Im going to mention it to Denny in my email. I wish they pick up Hans, it would look great next to McClane. I'm keeping an eye as well on the fullset on how it comes out.

Looking at your join date and your post count I can see where you're coming from. Keeping track of custom figure releases does tend to mean having to keep your finger on the pulse.

Most days I look at the threads I just don't post a lot. I can probably count on one hand the figures I would put an extra effort into getting over and above an outright purchase. Just caught the most recent episode of Robot Chicken on the DVR. They had a skit with Hans Gruber and the "now I have a machinegun" goon. Nice timing.

Maybe a full Hans figure may not work but what if for the DX you get a full McClane figure with one head and the DX part is a Hans head. Just a suggestion.

...or two McClane sculpts in a DX set plus Hans as a HS-only release :)

Pretty sure he means that it wouldn't work commercially. I'd pay a hundred bucks or so for a Hans HS, but I can't see myself paying over $300 for a 'guy in a suit'.

Well he seems less popular on this list. I'm saying if there isn't enough intrest maybe this could be an option or the head sculpt only release. Just trying to help get it made for people that want him.
