I don't wanna speak for Pedro, however, I spoke to him the other day since I am waiting on the second run as well. I ordered the headsculpt and outfit back in February 2015. There has been a delay in the second run due to the outfit. Hopefully, Yunsil can complete these outfits shortly so we can have our figures. I like yourself am very eager and excited to have this and the remaining figures from this set in my collection

Hi, I know you and the rest of the guys in the 2nd run are impatient about getting your figure, but with all my respect, guys from the 1st run have been waiting for a long time patiently and even if I had everything ready to go it would not be nice from me if people that came later in the project get their stuff before them, I hope you understand this part. However, people in the 2nd run have also the right to ask for updates as you guys also paid for your figure, but when I had a couple of people asking me everyday to do a 2nd run, I let everyone know that it would be delivered until all people in from the 1st run receive his theirs.

Yunsil had a problem sourcing the fabric for the jacket lapels which caused a delay on completing all outfits from the 2nd run. Honestly, this was the last time I do a 2nd run for any character, I wanted to give the new guys the chance to get this figure but resulted in a very complicated process.

Even then - What is the deadline for first run to be sorted out? It might be prudent to type here on the thread on what is pending from whom so that you can get faster closure! Bottom line no one is asking you to give second run before 1st and that's a no brainer. But if run 1 guys have some stuff pending hopefully you can highlight that right hear on the thread and indicate that you will have to move forward as things are getting blocked. We all have no clue what's going on 90 pct of times as no updates are there.

Lastly - Are the outfits for second run now done or there are still issues? Is the clothing set identical on all aspects as the first run. We all have so many questions which in my view deserve regular answers!

Personally even if half a run is done I feel regular updates probably should be provided. But that's just my thoughts! Most of the time the lack of communication triggers confusion among people.

Besides the pending balance from some people from the 1st run, Yunsil had an issue and ran out of fabric for the lapels and couldn't complete all outfits from the 2nd run, this is in order for the outfits to be identical to the ones from the 1st run. I have been in communication with her but I can't provide a specific dfate for you on when your figure will be ready for shipping, all I can say is that I'm doing my best for that to be as soon as possible as I want to close this project and concentrate on Django which I need to start the pre-order now as I need to pay the artists involved.

I know I don't provide an update everyday, but sometimes there's just no updates to provide, but that doesn't mean that I don't care or I'm not pushing to have everything completed. You can see now that I deliver, with delays, but I deliver. You can also check with the guys that already received their stuff on the quality of everything if you have doubts or second thoughts. I appreciate your concern, but there are things that I need to handle on my own in order to get things done, I have been extremely open with some of you guys in FB that ask me for updates, and always answer questions... I started to think that maybe it was a bad idea and I won't be providing any information through FB anymore so we can avoid confusion and everyone that don't have a FB can receive the same information from me. Pedro - if I am the only one worried then what can I say! I don't want to be "that painful character" asking for updates but just for the clarification of Everyone on the thread:

I have utmost faith but you would appreciate that I have 3 figures almost fully paid and one committed in principal - that is a substantial amount to not worry or not to expect updates and or progress.

is no one else worried or eager to get these or to know progress.

Once again my intent is not to stir things but it's an honest humble worry which I am articulating - it's not even about money but Calvin is such an imp grail for me that it further augments the pain!

Hopefully you will have a resolve for us as this for some of us is a very very imp figure!

I am not part of the production of this figure or any others of Pedro's so take what I say as just that, I and not Pedro.

There is a lot of waiting involved with custom Projects, paying upfront is a common practice and buyers need to be patient, now it is not wrong to ask for updates, after all it is your money, but there must be trust between buyer and seller. Now saying that anyone who is on the 2nd run I don't care if you paid a million dollars, the first run must be fulfilled before the 2nd run, that is just how it works, going into the 2nd run this was stressed, it is not Pedro's fault that tailors or sculptors etc run into problems and things get delayed, if you feel you can do it better feel free to start your own runs, but like Pedro said first run THEN second run, Amstetdam has taken over a year, and that is just for the first run, but things are all quiet there because people understand this. We are dealing with respected artists here, they aren't running off, don't worry.

Fact 2: only now we learnt that lapel issue is there / still there - cause I can speak for myself was told all is good to go and ready to ship!
Fact 3: you also ask for updates and all we are requesting is to give regular updates - for instance I am sure not everyone knew that outfits for second run are not in place! That there are issues. (Most people have been pm ing on this and I am the only one pointing it out openly)

So - no one is blaming anyone for anything but not knowing that these issues are there and only learning them after actually being informed all is good and ready to ship is the issue!

ps - many of us are also on lists on which we are patiently waiting - this and many others. In fact I have never complained for updates on any thread except this and marshall. Some people here who advise a lot ask updates on threads in which the guys are actually updating regularly (example you on hectors threads) where there are updates from him more often than I log in. So pls

I agree with Leon 911, I do understand delays and stuff takes time but when your told everything is ready to ship and that he has everything ready to go just needs to be boxed up you expect to have it soon also when your told next week for sure then another week goes by and another then that's when you start getting a little worried. I just recently sold my spot cause I was getting curious about this as i was told it would be shipping to me next week and then the same next. I am sure Pedro will deliver and is a swell guy not arguing there just irritating when you told one thing then finding out the outfits are not done. Hope know one take my post the wrong way just trying to give you are point of view and what i was told as well anyways this is going to be a amazing figure and congrats all who got it cant wait to see everyone's pics :duff

No one is saying you can't ask for updates, like you said I ask for updates, but I don't ask non stop and my update asking usually consists of "any update?" also with the added notion that if there is no update I am 100% fine with that, I have been in this hobby long enough to know wait times and how runs should run. I don't post long paragraphs like you that sound more like acqusations and more towards the angry side then you tend to believe. Also you did ask for the 2nd run to be shipped before some people on the first run...

You can put it however nicely you want, but basically you are being impatient and don't want to wait for the first run people to finalize their orders. They did pay before you, incase you didn't know, also some people don't check this site as often...

Also in reference to your comment about shortround's thread, that was over a year ago where I asked for an update after seeing Hector had posted pictures of the item on Facebook and not in the thread, he took it the wrong way imo and it was over in 2mins, not this never ending nagging in this thread. I really think you should not be so quick to lash back out at me which is clearly there under your "no offense given and none taken" comments and scan over your past posts, you post an awfully lot about updates and statuses in the thread rather than contacting people through PM.

2) I seek advice from everyone - remember - never dismiss an advice even if it's from the wrong source - the source may be wrong but the advice sometimes can be right!

Lastly - you are complicating matters by taking this thread into a to and fro! No one asked you so pls stay off - "none of your business"

Like you suggested above to toyadventurer you can also block us if you feel our posts are not to be followed for you! No ones stopping that!

The issue is only cause:

We received contrary updates and we felt it's important for people to know where this project is at!

None of us knew that the outfits are still in a limbo! We all felt first run will be shipped and a week later second one! That's the last update we have. You are unnecessarily jumping in between and leaving a sour taste for everyone!
