Re: WGP "JUSTIFIED" Olyphant interest thread

Hell on Wheels is alright way too slow paced and its still a new show, has it even been picked up for a second season yet? I would much rather have something like the characters from the Sheild, Sopranos, The Wire, Deadwood, Sons if Anarchy or Game of thrones. Would like some more Dexter charcters especially Deb but that will never happen.

She could happen. We're Dexter fans here. Oh wait, we can't say that, can we? I meant to say maybe we'd make her from that zombie movie she was in a few years ago (laugh).

Re: WGP "JUSTIFIED" Olyphant interest thread

Interested in a hatted version, please. And Boyd, as well :wave

Also, interested in Bullock and Swearangen from Deadwood

Without starting an official Deadwood thread yet, I will keep track of all of the Deadwood requests in the first post till we do. :)

PS- I just changed the title to make it easier- laugh

Re: WGP "JUSTIFIED"/"DEADWOOD" Olyphant interest thread

Im totally in for a DEADWOOD version!

and most specifically for AL!!!

Re: WGP "JUSTIFIED"/"DEADWOOD" Olyphant interest thread

Hell on Wheels was slated for a second season in December '11. It is slower paced but it allows for some of the most amazing characters to develop. I mean I can't remember any show having characters like the Swede or the Preacher from HOW. And Chris Heyerdahl and Tom Noonin have been around forever so sculpts of them could be modded into any of a number of characters.

Re: WGP "JUSTIFIED"/"DEADWOOD" Olyphant interest thread

I'm confirming for Seth and Al from Deadwood, I noticed my name on both with question marks, for want one of each!

I'll give it another shot, I stopped watching after the forth episode and I had heard it hadn't got any better, this is the first good review anyone else has given me, I'll check it out before the next season starts.

Yeah. I'm thinking Seth hatted is the default version. We'll only make him unhatted if enough people ask.

Re: WGP "JUSTIFIED"/"DEADWOOD" Olyphant interest thread

Definite yes for Deadwood Al. Maybe Seth, but probably not if the hat is sculpted on. Speaking of sculpted hats, you already have a great Ellsworth if you unsculpt Bobby's trucker cap and give him a regular head. hint hint

Re: WGP "JUSTIFIED"/"DEADWOOD" Olyphant interest thread

Now Justifield Raylan and Boyd would be great figures id be interested in Raylan and Boyd sculpts

I would love to be in....but how many threads do you have open? Supernatural....are those even completed yet?

If people want an Ellsworth thats a very easy thing for us to do. Lets see how many other people ask? Since Boobby is already sculpted we'd need less peiople than 16 to do it.

I don't mind starting an unhatted Seth list. I will put you on that and see how well it does?

Hatted or unhatted Raylan?

Great question! We have threads that are over a year old like Batman, Galactica, Aliens, and Flash Gordon that for most the heads are sculpted for but we have been waiting for seamstress' to finish off the costuming halves because we have had a lot of change ups on the seamstress end.

On the other end we took on three other sculptors (so we have four sculptors now), and have finished 18 sculpts in four months that are all qued somewhere between printing, cleaning, and molding. We aim to make at LEAST another 18 sculpts in the next four months

Lastly, because we have all of these sculptors, we have interest lists out there. Interest lists are not confirmed projects. Those are projects we'd like to do but won't become active and on the books unless they get the 16 people interested they need to become a confirmed project. We have threads out there aren't making the numbers yet, which hopefully well.

For Supernatural, Bobby and Sam are done as of last month. Castiel is done as of today, and we are still tweaking around on Dean because he is so hard. They are part of the next 18 (as is Sulu, Scotty, and the Fourth Doctor from Doctor Who), so we are already doing those, and should be printed soon. :)

If we were to get enough requests from other people, maybe someday.

And so opens a slippery road (laugh), because we have no problem making Seth Bullock or Al Swearengen heads. I loved Deadwood (though I hated it's non-ending and lack of pay-off), but if we were to make the Deadwood heads/start an interest list for them now, it would be just for the heads, like Justified, and not for the costumes , and I don't know how much that is really going to help everyone.
hated the ending too. kept waitin for the rumored movie but nooo, they gotta go do frakkin John From Cincinnati. i'm from Cincy and watched it. still have no idea what was going on lol.
Maybe your tailors could do some of Seth & Al's outfit? i would think some could be bashed. but definitely put me down for both Seth & Al! no (?) needed here

Jimmy C

I'd be more likely to go for a hatless Raylan and buy a hat from Stevo. As a general rule I don't like molded/glued on hats. A removeable resin hat may be ok, but in the case of this character I think a fur felt hat from Stevo would be preferable

i'd like a hatless too w/ felt hat but you'd have to be real careful on the hair, and make it thinner, and kinda slicked back so the hat would fit right. hate those big hats that're made too big just to accommodate a natural hairstyle.

Re: WGP "JUSTIFIED"/"DEADWOOD" Olyphant interest thread

I would be interested in a Seth Bullock headsculpt.

Tailoring spots are a very precious commodity in the studio and there are a lot of projects that have been on the books some time we need to complete before we could get to Deadwood, so I'm not saying no, but right now I don't want to promise something we might not be able to deliver.

I'd like a hatless (Raylen) too w/ felt hat but you'd have to be real careful on the hair, and make it thinner, and kinda slicked back so the hat would fit right. hate those big hats that're made too big just to accommodate a natural hairstyle.

Thanks Mook. Gotcha down. :)

WGP won't skimp on the hair of a sculpt to make a hat removable because we are committed to the sculpt looking as good as we can.
That's why we are open to offering it two ways.

Re: WGP "JUSTIFIED"/"DEADWOOD" Olyphant interest thread
